Claire started her business in January 2014 whilst on maternity leave from a career in education…
I had been searching for a way for me to be a full-time mum but not have to compromise on lifestyle. I suppose when I look back, I also knew I craved success, financial independence and that I wanted to set a great example for my children.
Very quickly I had developed an income that gave me the confidence in myself and belief in the company that I could develop a serious career with Forever and I made the decision not to return to work at the end of my maternity leave in June 2014. In fact, six months in and I was earning more than my full-time monthly wage, working part time around my daughter.
This wasn’t without a very sceptical start. Network marketing was new to me and seeing for myself that I could, in fact, develop a serious career, as well as feeling fulfilled as a mum, made me feel both excited and sceptical. I could see others developing successful businesses so I developed the attitude that if they can, maybe with some work on myself then I could too!
I came with a huge desire to change my life and a great work ethic. This saw me quickly progress through the marketing plan and go on to qualify for the car, travel and chairman’s bonus programmes. My income allowed us to get a mortgage on a house we wouldn’t have been able to previously, which was a huge goal for us and our growing family.
I now continue to develop my business as a full-time mum to three young daughters; Bella, 5, Sadie, 3 and Minnie 1. We have enjoyed not only a dramatic change in lifestyle that the income from my business has given us but also the time it has given us as a family.
I feel free, that’s the best way to describe it. I won’t miss a thing with my children because I’m in charge of my diary. I’m not aware of another opportunity that would enable us the same work life balance, lifestyle and financial security we have currently.
Forever is a way of living for us, not just a job that I pick up for an hour or two at a time and because of this I’m able to show the girls that by working hard and smart, anything is possible if you’re bold enough to chase after your dreams. I use the nooks and crannies of the day to work my business, and the beauty of it for me is that many of the business-building activities are incorporated into life as a busy mum, perfect!
Our girls are growing up in a positive environment, with people with great attitudes, and around other children that we meet on the trips away with Forever. The travel incentives have been really special to us. I’ve used them as a way to enable the girls to see parts of the world that we wouldn’t have been able to prior to me starting my business. I feel privileged that the company has invested in me, as the training and the people we have met as part of those trips have been incredible.
I’m driven by being able to show others that you can absolutely have both! You can have the time with your children whilst they’re young without having to sacrifice income, career satisfaction and personal development.
My passion is to help others to see the potential in the marketing plan and help them to learn the skills necessary to make the changes they’re looking to make to their lives. I’m a very proud Network Marketing Professional and am really excited about the future not only for our family but for the people we work alongside and the industry as a whole.
FOREVER BRINGS PEOPLE TOGETHER
Samantha and John have been Forever Business Owners for over ten years and they have had the privilege of watching the company grow along with their own business over this time. For them the business has always fit in the nooks and crannies of their life and they are looking forward to seeing how it unfolds over the coming years…
My older sister and I grew up in a loving home, but in my eyes, my sister has always been the ‘successful one’. She was a talented athlete and swam on the GB Swim Team from a young age! The feelings of inferiority I developed affected the way I saw myself as an adult, and as I started to build my Forever business I was faced with the challenge of overcoming that belief I had of not being good enough. We started Forever in September 2006 so last year we celebrated our tenth year of working with Forever. Over the years I’ve realised how important it is to work on self-development, and through the people and training Forever’s offered, I’m finally beginning to realise my worth! During our first year as FBOs, we immersed ourselves in the company. I literally worked the business in the pockets of time around my full-time job, and then again around my babies. We achieved Manager in 2010 and although we don't have a huge business with a life-changing income, we do have an income that allows me to be a stay-at-home mum to Henry, five, and Jasmine, four.
Our first exposure to Rex Maughan was at the Stockholm European Rally and Profit Share event in 2007. After this we committed to attend these events every year and we have since travelled all over Europe. When the events went global, my very best friend Toni Hall asked me to join her as her Global Rally guest and I accompanied her to Johannesburg. It was a complete privilege and an awesome event, and I’m so thankful and amazed at how Forever brings people together.
When the children start going to school full-time I intend to use my spare time to focus more on my Forever business, but having the opportunity to increase my income whenever I choose is truly humbling. The ability to make a difference in people’s lives every day is also a fantastic feeling and I thank Rex for this amazing opportunity.

FOUND THROUGH FATE
Amy is mum to two amazing children and has an eighteen-year-old stepdaughter who has joined her team. Working the business hasn’t always been easy, but Amy truly believes that Forever is her calling…
When I was first introduced to Forever I was asked to look at the business opportunity many times over the course of about nine months, but it was never something that interested me. Then in January 2015 my sister, Emma Rees, joined Forever. She asked if I wanted to join her team but I still didn't think that it was the right fit for me so she introduced me to the products instead. I started drinking Forever Aloe Vera Gel and I was amazed by the results, but I still wasn't sure whether I wanted to join the business. One day my sister decided to make a wager with me and said, "If you win over £200 at bingo when you take mum tonight, then it's fate and you have to join!" That night, both me and my mother won £1,000! I had never won bingo before and I haven't won since so perhaps it was indeed fate that led me to join Forever. Either way, I'm so glad I joined!
I have worked in the NHS as a dental nurse for thirteen years but the idea of gaining an extra income that could be spent on activities for the children, days out, weekends away and holidays abroad began to appeal to me. The additional income would also help towards putting the children through university and I have dreams of saving up and building my dream home! I joined Forever in February 2015 and had the most amazing few weeks after joining. I had no team but I hit Supervisor in just forty days with help from my amazing upline – Melissa Buckley and Tracey Munro were my rocks – but then I missed Assistant Manager by just seven case credit in the July. This caused me to doubt myself and Forever so I packed the family's cases and went to Spain. Taking a break with my family at our second home helped me to realise why I was doing Forever, and I returned from our break more determined than ever – I hit Assistant Manager in the November because I realised that if it’s meant to be, it is up to me!
This year I am focusing on rebuilding my team, and my goal is to hit Manager by June. I have achieved many of the company incentives and I even accompanied Melissa to Eagle Managers’ Retreat in 2016. I have never missed my monthly 4CC target since joining the company and I’m looking forward to seeing what the rest of 2017 brings.
"I hit Assistant Manager in the November because I realised that if it’s meant to be, it is up to me!"
Rupy has had to fight for her rights all her life, but Forever has given her the potential to take a new path…
When I was young, I was taken under the care of my aunt and uncle. It was hard because I wasn't your typical child, I was disabled. They took me in and brought me up alongside their own three children, and they never gave up on me. They gave me so much love and that made me the person I am today.
With their support, I gained my GCSEs and three A-grades at A-level, despite ‘professionals’ telling me that I’d never be able to achieve that. Even after I achieved these results I was told by social services not to go to university; they would not fund my support so we fought them so that I could go. Even at university it was a continuous battle to try and get the correct support.
With a lot of hard effort, I left university with a 2:1 and I am now training to be a doctor of health psychology. I still frequently worry that my support will be cut and I constantly have to plead, beg and fight with social services to ensure that I receive the support I need in order to live my life as a human being should do.
A few years ago, I became obsessed with playing the lottery; I’d pray that I’d win the Euro millions so that I didn’t have to worry about relying on social services. But in August 2016, I met my old school friend Lucy. She offered me hope when she introduced me to Forever and when I saw the potential of the business opportunity, I grabbed it. I saw a light at the end of the tunnel which would lead to a place where I wouldn’t have to degrade myself every few years to prove to social services what I can't do, just for them to give me the support I require. Instead I've joined a team that praises me for my abilities and what I CAN do. I'm no longer a victim, I can start dreaming again, and I no longer play the lottery!
The Forever opportunity is not really about the money, but rather the choices it offers. It gives people hope, and I want to offer hope to other people too; to those who, for whatever reason, feel as if their life is not in their own control. I'm going to ensure I work and achieve everything I can in Forever. I have so many aims and dreams now, and I'm looking forward to the day I write a letter to social services telling them that they can no longer rain on my parade!
"I've joined a team that praises me for my abilities and what I CAN do. I'm no longer a victim, I can start dreaming again."
Sapphire Manager Natalie Heeley continues to take the Forever world by storm as she secures the number one spot in the UK for the third year running.
As a leader admired by many across the world, a devoted mother to two wonderful children (plus one on the way), and a business-builder whose success continues to surpass expectations, Natalie carries with her an air of professionalism, power and self-confidence that many would envy. Forever’s Editor, Kate Hodge, caught up with Natalie at her beautiful country home to talk business, mindset, and why she’s Forever Proud…
KH: WHAT DID LIFE LOOK LIKE WHEN YOU FIRST STARTED FOREVER?
NH: I’ve been in Forever about ten years now but my background is in marketing. I was made redundant twice and the second time I was pregnant with my son Will. I therefore became a mum at home, which was great because it was what I always wanted anyway, and Rosie came along pretty quickly after, but money was a struggle. For ten years prior to this, my mum Jan Whittaker had been asking me to look at Forever, but I’d never been interested before. However, things changed when I had both children and I found myself wanting something that was going to be flexible, something that was going to be challenging, and something that was going to give me loads of support because I didn’t have much confidence or belief in myself at the time. Will was two and Rosie was five months old when I started my Forever business.
KH: WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE YOURSELF IF YOU COULD GO BACK TO THOSE EARLY DAYS?
NH: If I were to start the business again, I would tell myself to never compare myself to other people. It’s so easy to do, but we need to remember that we are all on our own journey and we all come into it with different challenges, different goals and different skills. Every Forever Business Owner needs to realise that they are individuals who are able to make it happen. In fact, the only way you can fail is by quitting, so you need to make sure you are getting up each day with that positive mindset, getting out of your comfort zone, and working on challenges to ensure you overcome them. Self-belief also plays a crucial role. It took me two years to get to Manager because I didn’t believe that I could do it, and it took me a long time to learn that you have to work on your mindset daily.
KH: HOW DOES IT FEEL TO SECURE THE TOP SPOT AGAIN?
NH: It’s pretty amazing to be recognised as the number one FBO for the third year running, but it’s not just down to me – my team is just incredible and I want to say a big thank you to them all. This achievement is also a testament to hard work. When I started my Forever business I worked literally every moment I could around the children, and it just shows that if you put that hard work in, it will pay off in the long term.
KH: WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO FBOS WHO ASPIRE TO BE LEADERS IN THE FIELD?
NH: Firstly, it’s important that you do your research and make sure you are clear on what tools, events and trainings are available to you. You should then access these tools and trainings yourself before sharing them with your team. I think the company trainings and events that I’ve benefited from the most are the Success Express events. They are so important as they keep you motivated, they help to build team spirit, and the trainings are absolutely incredible. The Advisory Board product trainings are also essential as they will help to build your confidence when it comes to retailing the products and they will also help you to coach your team. Using the tools on foreverknowledge.info has also been beneficial to my business because everything is at your fingertips and you can access it from home in those little spaces throughout your day.
As well as promoting the company trainings and events, being a leader requires teaching others the basics of the business. It’s teaching people how to retail the products, how to do a great product launch, how to make a phone call, how to do a one-to-one and how to run a Business Presentation, whether that’s a home BP or over a coffee. You don’t need to reinvent the wheel as it’s worked for forty years; you just have to be persistent and teach others. For me, a massive part has been teaching others about mindset. I believe that 80% of our success is down to what we are telling ourselves so I constantly remind my team to work on their mindset daily.
KH: HAVE YOU ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR THOSE WHO FEEL THEIR BUSINESS HAS SLOWED?
NH: Remember not to compare yourself to other people – running a business is not a race and it is perfectly normal to go through stages where business remains at a steady pace. However, if you are keen to see growth, it may be worth looking back in your diary to remind yourself what activity you’ve been doing. Look at the past three months, how many one-to-ones have you had? How many guests have you taken to the Business Presentation? Ideally these are face-to-face activities but they could be online, and although you will probably find that you’ve done a bit, it’s likely you have room to do a lot more. Just try increasing your activity and you’ll soon see the results you crave. What I do, and what I tell my team to do, is to try and do a minimum of three to five one-to-ones per week, and attend a Business Presentation, with a guest, on a weekly basis.
By doing this amount of activity, you are likely to recruit one to three people each month. If you aren’t going to the BP, a big part of the jigsaw is missing – the BP will give you the motivation and encouragement you need to confidently talk about the business; make sure it plays a key role in the diary, but most importantly, don’t give up and know that you can do it.
KH: WHAT HAS THIS PAST YEAR (2016) LOOKED LIKE FOR YOU?
NH: This past year has been pretty magical: I turned forty when we were out in South Africa at Global Rally and this was followed by the most amazing family holiday. My kids, my mum, my brother and sister, we all went on safari and we really just spent loads of time together making memories. I had a big party with my team out in Johannesburg, and I also picked up a million dollar cheque which made it a pretty spectacular birthday. When we came home we had a few more parties, so it’s literally been a year of celebration and having fun. Amongst all this I also met my partner, we’ve renovated our beautiful farm house which has always been a dream come true, and then to finish the year off I found out that we are expecting a baby!
KH: WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS FOR 2017?
NH: This year my focus is being a mummy again. Rosie is now eleven, Will is twelve, but this time it’s going to be so, so different. All those years ago I didn’t have much money or time, I was a single parent and there were lots of challenges that we had to face; this little girl is going to grow up in an entirely different environment. Our house is nearly finished so we are going to be living in our dream home and we can’t wait to introduce our baby girl into the family. It’s going to be pretty scary going back to babies but we are all so excited. I’m also looking forward to working with my team, watching them achieve Chairman’s Bonus and Eagle Manager, and obviously I am going to have the opportunity to meet lots of new mums which means conversations that could lead to them changing their future. All in all, 2017 is going to be a great year.
KH: WHY ARE YOU FOREVER PROUD?
NH: Forever has provided me with financial freedom and for me that means choices; choices to do whatever we want, when we want, without having to think about whether we can afford it. That’s been pretty life-changing for us. I’m also able to work closely with my mum and sister, and together we’ve been able to change our family’s lives. It’s humbling to know that by simply sharing the opportunity, we’ve changed hundreds of lives around the world as well. I love meeting so many different types of people and to work in such a positive and motivating environment is rare these days. That’s why I’m Forever Proud.

Based in south-west London, Matt enjoyed a successful career working for a major brand. He was focused, passionate and hardworking, but the long hours and lack of time began to tarnish the corporate dream…
I started my Forever journey back in February 2015 whilst working for a large well-known soft drinks brand. I headed up their national sales team which consisted of over 130 managers, and while some may say I had the perfect career, I always believed there was more to life than working a sixty-hour week and having no time to yourself.
Fortunately, I saw the Forever opportunity as my way out of the corporate rat race. I set a goal to get to a place where I’d be able to quit my job within five months, and exactly five months later I resigned. I knew that working alongside such an incredible company with amazing products would work, so I began building a business by following everything that my upline told me to do. Kyle Burrows and Emma Cooper were outstanding mentors!
I achieved Manager in three months by working my business around my job, and alongside managing my own personal £multi-million international property portfolio. I was also having my house extended and I was in the middle of buying a new three-bed London apartment to rent out. I may have been busy, but I made time for my Forever business; it was going to set me up for the future and once there I would never have to look back!
I now have four amazing Managers based in Scotland, and a team of over 300 people – we are like one big happy family! The friendships you make in Forever are incredible; these people are going to be in my life for the rest of my days, and the journey we are going to walk together makes me ‘smile’. When I was at Global Rally in South Africa, I looked around and, whilst holding back emotion, I knew I was working for something special when I saw such inspirational and highly motivational people.
I am more committed than ever to carry on building my business with Forever, and Senior Manager is firmly set on the horizon, but I have also had the time to retrain in something I’ve always been passionate about – property. I have now qualified as a self-employed mortgage and insurance advisor and I intend to work this role alongside my Forever business. Forever has given me options; options to have more time, freedom, and the ability to do what I want, when I want, and with whom I want. That is priceless! I would like to thank everyone who is playing a key part in my journey and I am super-excited for the years ahead.

Ex-professional footballer Darren was on top of his game having played for premiership and championship team Blackburn Rovers (and other clubs) from the age of fourteen. However, when he was in his mid-twenties, an injury caused everything to change. His partner, Charlotte Hawes, shares his story…
Darren’s life was football, football, football. Every day was about working on his fitness, training and being healthy, and if he wasn’t on a football pitch or in the gym, he was on the golf course! Darren played with and against top players and he would visit and play in various countries – he was ‘living the dream’. But, in 2008, Darren suffered a snapped cruciate and problems with his knees, and although he is still playing local football, his professional career had to come to an end.
Darren was devastated as football was all he knew from such a young age. He had to have four knee operations and it was becoming a daily struggle for him to work and walk, never mind trying to play football!
Darren discovered Forever whilst working at a client’s house and soon realised, without knowing the details, that there was a very good opportunity available. Darren recommended the business to me as he knew I was at a crossroads – I had very little spare time and no work-life balance, and we instantly saw an opportunity to earn (in time) a substantial income alongside a flexible lifestyle.
We signed up and I currently play the lead role whilst Darren shares his product experiences and the opportunity to everyone he meets. So far the business has given us amazing friendships, it’s allowed us to set goals and get excited, and we can now start to build a career together and plan for a future we didn’t think was possible.
Darren and Charlotte on F15…
Darren found Forever's products to be of great benefit to him and he is now keen to use the products to help him get back to the level of fitness he was pre-injury. Darren and Charlotte are currently part-way through the F15 programme. Here is what they have to say:
“F15 is fantastic and having a programme to follow for diet and exercise is giving me the best chance to get in shape and stay in shape. My motivation to be at a high level of fitness is back and I will reach the goals I’ve set. Since starting the programme, I’ve started to see definition and I’ve lost some weight in the process. If you’re doing F15, don’t give up, dig in and get it done – the end goal is always worth it.” – Darren Dunning
“Being a keen sportsperson myself but having struggled to get back into a regular fitness regime, the structure of F15, along with the brilliant workout videos that Forever produced, has given me the kick and the support I needed to get back on track.” – Charlotte Hawes
Bethan wanted more from her working life but as a young mum she found it difficult to progress. Then she discovered Forever…
In 2011, at the age of twenty-one, I was a single mum to my little boy Tyler who was two years old, and I was working full-time for a large retail chain. I dropped out of college at nineteen when I became pregnant and two years later I was feeling like I hadn’t fulfilled my potential. Retail became something I was good at and even though I adored being a mum, I didn’t want to be just another young mum in the system.
There was never anything wrong with my life; I had great friends and family, and a job that paid a wage that paid my bills, but there was always something missing – I just didn’t know what! My bosses were amazing but working full-time had no flexibility for me as a mum with a young child, and I really struggled to pay for childcare costs. I was working for the pride of being able to say I was, but I had no money once everything was paid. I had no qualifications other than my GCSEs, and no real life experiences. Even if I did want to do something else, I didn’t know where to start, but that’s when Forever found me. I saw a chance to shineand earn a corporate income with full training and support, so I jumped.
For the past six years I have built a global business and a corporate income that surpasses anything I could have ever imagined. My Forever income has allowed me to privately educate my eldest, travel the world, drive dream cars, have our dream wedding, and it’s given us time to have two more children: Miles, one, and we have another on the way! I love being a stay-at-home mum, but I also love that I don't have to sacrifice a career to do that.
I have spent the last few years building myself up, something I know is invaluable, and although I have a lot of friends who are sceptical, once I talk people through the Marketing Plan and the stability of the company, even if it isn’t right for them, they seem to come around.
I started this business as a baby and have become someone I’m truly proud of. Forever will never just be a job for me, and the people I work with will never just be people I work with; Forever is my life, and I will always be passionate about sharing this opportunity.
"For the past six years I have built a global business and a corporate income that surpasses anything I could have ever imagined."
I came out of school with a D as my highest GCSE and I was incapable of committing to even one year of college. At sixteen I went straight into an office administration role, but I only lasted a week! I picked myself up and tried again and landed a customer service role. This time six months went by, but then I was in the same situation, booted out for the better of the company! This pattern lasted for the years that followed.
I have dyslexia, ADHD and I’ve suffered with depression for a number of years. I can articulate and hold a good conversation so I don’t often come across like someone diagnosed with dyslexia, but I've always struggled to stay on task. I get distracted easily and time slips through my fingers. Writing is difficult and takes me a long time, and to concentrate on something is really hard work for me. These things, along with terrible time-keeping and a worse attitude, put a strain on me progressing in life.
When I was twenty-two I decided I was better suited to self-employment. I entered a modelling competition and for the first time I knew what I wanted. I moved to London to pursue it properly and through the jobs I received I met some incredible people, gained great experience and it was something I could pick up when I wanted. Unfortunately I just didn’t have the drive to push myself so I ended up returning to the office. After a year and a half I had had enough; I was tired and underpaid and I was also slipping into deeper depression.
I went to Bethan as a shell of my former self. For the first time in three years I was ready to listen to her. I had no idea if I could do it and I lacked self-belief, but I had nothing to lose. I wanted to learn and see if the business could do all the things it promised.
The more I worked the business and developed myself as a person, the more obvious it became that I had to make some serious life choices. In the space of a week I left my relationship, my home, a mortgage, the city, attended a funeral, and I helped my Nan through depression. Forever became a focus away from everything else, and I put all my efforts into helping, advising and guiding my team. My upline’s advice and dedication to me and my team kept me strong and excited, and I absolutely adore where my life is headed. I chose to believe the impossible was possible and now I’m proud to say I’ve found something I can, and will, commit to.
A BUSINESS THAT’S MORE THAN MONEY...
Mohammed and Shomirun have been Forever Business Owners for many years and they have recently achieved the coveted position of Sapphire Manager. Sapphire Managers have at least nine personally-sponsored Managers in their downline and are able to earn an additional 1% on their income. This percentage may sound small, but it can actually make a significant difference to an income!
Forever’s Editor, Kate Hodge, caught up more about his journey to Sapphire…
KH: WHAT WAS LIFE LIKE BEFORE FOREVER?
MA: My sponsor and I were in another network marketing company for about a year before we found Forever, and although we were excited about the business opportunity, the products weren’t consumable. We therefore decided not to continue and instead I used my time to focus on my traditional businesses; this included running a transport company.
KH: HOW DID YOU DISCOVER FOREVER?
MA: After a few years, in 1997, Shareef called me to say he had found another exciting company which was well established. We arranged to meet and I joined Forever immediately after listening to his one-to-one presentation. However, I started to lose interest in the idea after talking to my friends and family as their reaction was fairly negative. Despite this, my sponsor had recommended several products to me so I gave them a try anyway and, in a short period of time, I was surprised to find good results. I was so impressed that I sat down for a planning meeting with my sponsor, made some serious commitments, set goals and became Manager within two months! That’s when I decided to give up on all the other businesses I had so that I could focus purely on Forever.
KH: WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO CONTINUE RUNNING YOUR BUSINESS AFTER ALL THESE YEARS?
MA: Over the course of the last nineteen years I have been approached by many people from other MLM companies, but none ever captured my interest as they were all just about the money. I feel extremely lucky to be a Forever Business Owner because I am not only receiving an income, but I am also blessed to have access to products that benefit my wellbeing. Today I drive the car of my choice, I can earn a slice of the company’s profit, I have travelled the world, and I have an income that I can save for my pension. The business really is so simple, and the best advice I could give new Forever Business Owners is to use all the products, attend all the meetings, and share the products and opportunity with absolutely everyone you meet.
KH: HOW HAS FOREVER YOUR LIFE?
MA: Forever has given me back time with my family, and it’s given me stability – before I was finding it hard to make ends meet! I want to thank Shareef for giving me courage, making me believe that I can be successful, showing me the light when I couldn’t see, and for travelling with me everywhere just to make me successful. We will certainly be friends FOREVER! I want to tell everyone in my team that I love them so much; without them I wouldn’t be where I am today, and I would like to thank Rex for creating a profitable environment where individuals like myself, can become, with dignity, what they want to become – thank you!
"I feel extremely lucky to be a Forever Business Owner because I am not only receiving an income, but I am also blessed to have access to products that benefit my wellbeing."
FUELLED BY FITNESS
I joined the business through my love of the products and at that time I was also training to be a personal trainer, a job which I thought would fit around the children and mean I didn't have to give up my passion – fitness! I'd been a stay-at-home mum for six years at this point; I was lucky as I didn’t have to work, but I really missed my financial independence and that sense of providing for the family.
I spent the first year retailing, mainly the sports and weight management products, and I built a great retail business, but I was petrified when it came to building a team. I had little belief that anyone would listen to me and I worried about their opinions, so I sat happily at Supervisor for about ten months. Then, in February 2014, my third child was born and everything changed.
I met up with my upline who gave me a small nudge and I left that meeting with self-belief, a fire in my belly and a huge desire to have something more. I spent a lot of time working with my team, working on my self-development and learning to get better in all areas of the business, and I’ve developed a passion for helping others and seeing in them something they don't. I have recently separated from my husband and it’s been incredibly challenging, but Forever has given me the financial stability to start my life again. I now work Forever around three beautiful children and I've still not had to give up on my fitness passion. In fact, Forever has enabled me to achieve more. The products have changed my performance in the gym – I use Forever Aloe Vera Gel, Forever Arctic Sea and Argi+ daily, and Forever Pro X2 bars and Forever Lite Ultra are also staple snacks in my life.
I use my attitude to training in the gym to benefit my mindset in the business. When you want to achieve a goal in the gym you have to dedicate time to learning how that’s done, you have to be passionate and fired up enough so that the goal is tunnel vision, and you have to take daily consistent action! There will be tough days where you feel it’s not possible, but you just support yourself with a good coach who encourages you, and when you are training in the gym at times when others are out socialising, you hear things like 'lighten up' or 'you're crazy', but you go even on the days you don't want to because the goal is that important to you – my success in Forever has been down to applying this exact mindset to my business!
FITNESS, FREEDOM AND FOREVER
After seventeen years in the military, Dewi Winkle from Ripon, North Yorkshire, took the decision to embark on a career in sport and event management. It was a difficult decision but, alongside working as a triathlon coach, he wanted to be involved in creating events that challenged people.
The last eleven years have seen him working in a variety of posts including roles at the Asian Games in Doha, working for British Triathlon, operating as an open water swim coach in the Caribbean and Mediterranean, and co-ordinating challenge events for a military charity. Eventually Dewi settled down in North Yorkshire with his partner Dawn where he manages The Wattbike Studio, trains triathletes and organises the annual iconic Scilly Swim Challenge on the Isles of Scilly. With a passion for motivating others and guiding people into a healthier lifestyle, it was perfect timing when he met Global F.I.T. Ambassador Mike Butterworth and his partner Lindsey Jackson…
Dewi says:
I recall Mike saying, “You come across as a personable and enthusiastic coach, might you be interested to learn about a business that might suit you?” Obviously I answered yes. I was really intrigued and excited; the business model, products and team-building hit a chord with me as I wanted to sell products that tied into my work at the studio. Forever’s products were perfect for my varied customers and the more I learned the better the opportunity seemed.
I’ve been in the business eighteen months now and I still ensure I achieve my 4CCs every month. I want to continue building my retail business and team, and I’ve recognised that the only barriers are the ones that I put up myself. I am really appreciative of having an opportunity that allows me to work when and where I want, at the pace I decide. Stepping out of my comfort zone has been essential, and I’ve come to realise that this will be a business that continues to educate me.
Living in the Yorkshire Dales, being surrounded by loyal people and deciding how I choose to work really suits me; having a job that allows me to improve people’s fitness, self-esteem and wellbeing has made me very grateful. There aren’t many jobs that allow you to give people a business, and that’s a real privilege – thank you Forever!
FOREVER BENEFITS OUR CHARITY
Heidi and Alan were introduced to Forever by an old friend Alan knew through his work in TV – comedian Dominic Holland! During a fundraising event for ‘The Lunchbowl Network’, a charity the couple helped start ten years ago, Dom spoke about his Forever business and introduced Heidi to Forever Aloe Vera Gel. Their business grew from here…
If I’m honest, at first I didn’t think the business was for me. I’d never sold anything before and since I was so busy with the charity, a couple of other small jobs, and four children, I didn’t think I had the time. However, my background is in research so my natural intrigue caused me to look further into the company, the products and the possibilities. I purchased the Business Owner Box and after a couple of months I really started to see Forever’s business potential.
Our sponsors didn’t know, but for a long while Alan and I had been praying for a new venture that we could run together. Alan works in TV sound and absolutely loves his job. He is very lucky, works on all the big shows and even went to Rio to work on The Last Leg and Paralympics. However, the older he gets, the more he wants to reduce his hours. Ideally he’d like to be selective about where and when he works, but until Forever, such a choice seemed unlikely. I also had a promising and well-paid TV career, but I had to give it all up as the unsociable hours and travel didn’t fit with the demands of a family. I also adore the work I do for The Lunchbowl Network – the charity cares for orphaned and vulnerable children in Kibera slum, and I raise awareness in UK schools and travel to the project in Nairobi – but this role is entirely voluntary. Lunchbowl will always be my passion, but I’ve always missed having a career. Forever has given me a second chance. I can now build and train a team of people, we have new travel opportunities, and we are excited about building our business globally.
Our team, ‘The Aloe-luias’ are lovely and we have made so many new friends. What’s really been amazing though is how our involvement in Forever has also benefitted The Lunchbowl Network. Many Forever Business Owners (FBOs) are now heavily involved with the charity and we have made friends with FBOs from Scotland, Scandinavia, Ireland and from various places in the UK – we can’t wait to meet them at Success Express and the global events! It hasn’t always been easy, but we have had the opportunity to plug into self-development and setting goals. Our focus now is all about our team and helping them to achieve Manager too – we can’t wait to see what 2017 brings.
FLEXIBLE FUN
Yvette has always been a firm believer in fate, and although she never understood the laws of attraction, she always felt that things happened for a reason…
I originally wanted to be a physiotherapist but when I was on a year out I decided to start a career in marketing. I eventually moved into B2B marketing for some of the top marketing agencies serving the technology industry. I enjoyed the casual, creative and fun environment of working for an agency, and I was running some of the world’s largest technology accounts, such as Microsoft. It was more than 9-5, and I was fine with that until I had my family. After having my daughters I decided to work for myself, part time and freelance so that I could choose my hours and work flexibly around the family. But when my son was five months old, out of nowhere I came down with severe pneumonia. It was so bad I had to have my husband write my will. It took me two years to properly get back on my feet and the result left me with a heart condition.
When Jack turned four and started school, I was deciding whether or not to take on more freelance work. That’s when I wondered whether there was ‘profit’ to be made from the Forever products. One of my best friends told me about the C9 six months earlier and after completing the programme I felt incredible. The products had won me over, but I didn’t know anything about the business side or even that there was one. I decided to approach a lady who had a stall at a local village carnival to find out more. We met for coffee and she presented the business to me. I sat there quietly and I was surprised to learn that there was a whole marketing plan behind the products. The opportunity ticked a lot of boxes for me in terms of flexible working, and in all honesty, I thought it was too good to be true.
My timing couldn’t have been worse. We’d just moved out of our house for renovation and I was working every day. We had children at three different schools and we were living at my parents. I was going to put it off until the new year, but my husband encouraged me to give it a go. I spent a month using the products and learning the business, and I started to qualify for incentives. I achieved Supervisor over the following two months and that’s when I became serious; within six months I was promoted to Manager! I absolutely love my team and who I’ve met along the way – Forever has given me a sense of purpose, but more importantly, flexible fun and an opportunity not to be missed.

EMBRACE EVERY BIT OF TIME
At twenty-five years old Becky has achieved a lot to be proud of, including building a successful business. Through the tough times, it was her mindset and the support of her team that carried her through…
My background is in neonatal nursing caring for premature babies. I started my Forever business in December 2014 intending to stop having to take on overtime. Some weeks I found myself working sixty - seventy hours at the hospital as I was trying to save for my wedding the following year.
Within five months of joining the business, I had reached Manager and matched my nursing income. This enabled me to stop my overtime, but it also meant I could go part time at the hospital. This was then followed by a six-month career break as I was dealing with some stressful situations near the end of 2015. In the space of a month, I got married, lost my Nan and lost our first baby.
Forever helped me to get through those hard times by giving me something to focus on. I had received a lot of support and training throughout my time in the business, and I had a good mindset. This meant I was able to deal with all I was going through and I could continue to build my Forever business whilst remaining positive. Even though it was a sad end to the year, I still qualified for Global Rally (1500CC) and I have since qualified for Senior Manager. After achieving this promotion I was able to hand in my notice at my nursing job. Forever has given me the vision that anything is possible. Life is too short, and I want to embrace everything and make the most of every bit of time I have with my friends and family. I loved my nursing job, but I love my freedom and flexibility more – that is what Forever has given me. Forever has also given me a lot of self-confidence. Confidence and self-belief is something I've always struggled with; speaking to people in large groups, never mind presenting a Business Presentation, absolutely terrified me. However, with the support of my upline and the belief that they gave me, I now regularly present at my local Business Presentation, I host my own trainings and webinars, and I have more confidence than I have ever had in my life. Confidence is something I never thought I would have, but thanks to Forever, I know that I can do anything if I put my mind to it – and I will!
A FUN-FILLED BUSINESS
Supervisor Grace Oyerinde’s journey started when her friend asked her if she would host a Forever product launch at her home…
I agreed as I was happy to support my friend, but I also liked that I wouldn’t have to lift a finger in preparation for the party – she offered to organise the catering and everything so that I could simply be a guest in my own home. To be honest though, I was also curious; my knowledge of the product range was very limited. I had only been introduced to Forever Bright Toothgel previously, so I was interested in learning a bit more.
We had a lot of fun that evening, sixteen people attended in total and I was impressed by how professional the team was at setting up and presenting the products. I was also struck by the integrity of the company – I loved that they offered a sixty-day money-back guarantee and that the aloe was organically-grown, pesticide-free and hand-harvested. I was also fascinated to learn about the nutritional ingredients contained within the products. I made the decision to buy the Business Owner Box as I wanted to benefit from the discount on future purchases. I was not interested in the business side of things – I had work and other commitments – I was just keen to get my discount!
Throughout the months that followed I naturally found myself talking to friends, family and colleagues about the products. I used all the products in the Business Owner Box, I went on and did the C9, and I purchased other products for personal use too. Friends and family wanted to know what I was doing and how was I doing it, and, five months later, I realised that my Forever business had taken off. Despite being a mother of three young children, holding two jobs as an accountant, and working other commitments such as teaching Sunday school, I was determined to give my business a real go. I held my first product launch, which was promptly followed by further presentations, and although not all were well attended, I quickly learnt that it wasn’t really about the volume of people, but engaging those who had a passion for the products.
The success I’ve seen so far has been down to my passion and the amazing support given by a Senior Manager in my upline, Celestina Egbor. I’m having so much fun hosting tea parties, doing table-top displays in my local community, and supporting my friends with their respective launches – I really have loved every minute!
"I was determined to give my business a real go"
BELIEVE YOU CAN DO IT
Emma used to work in finance within the oil and gas industry, but realising her job was unstable caused Emma to shift her focus…
I’m mum to two boys, Mikey, nine, and Caiden, sixteen months. I was introduced to Forever when thirty weeks pregnant with my second son. Michele, my sponsor, asked me to share a post on Facebook about earning an extra income, and since I was soon to be on maternity leave I was intrigued as to what it was about. I signed up the next day.
I was determined to reach my first promotion before Caiden was born. I did what I was told, listened to all the training, started talking about the products and I built a team. I reached my first promotion five days before he was born. I continued to work hard building my team but when he was eight weeks old my relationship broke down and I became a single mum. I had been a single mum before; I raised Mikey by myself until he was five, but my confidence had taken a hit. Although I still worked the business, I didn't work it as hard as I could or should have. I didn't believe that I could be a success and go all the way any more. But then something changed...
In the middle of November, whilst I was still on maternity leave, I received a phone call to say that there were going to be redundancies at work and my job was one they were looking to cut. The following weekend I attended my first ever Success Express event in Glasgow. It was amazing. The atmosphere was electric and I received my Supervisor promotion. I came home that night and cried, not just because I'd driven five hours in the snow, but because I could see the impact the opportunity could have on my family.
In December my business doubled. I was made redundant but I didn't care as I knew everything would be ok and from then on my business continued to grow. I now work part-time as a payroll and bookkeeping assistant for an accountant’s, which I love, and thanks to Forever I have been able to take my kids to Legoland (Mikey had it on the goal board). I just love that I have spare time to spend with my boys!
I now believe that anything is possible. I used to be really negative, believing that the successful person could never be me, but now I know I can have it all and more. All it takes is hard work and the belief you can do it.
"I just love that I have spare time to spend with my boys!"
A NEW FOUND FREEDOM
Natasha Dykes found herself in a demanding career with no further progression before her mind was opened to an opportunity that changed her life…
I graduated in 2009 and took off around the world for eight months with my partner, which was a lifetime experience. My working life started on my return and I found myself in the financial industry. Although it wasn’t the industry I wanted to be in for life, I was given the opportunity to effectively double my income by obtaining qualifications. Within two years I achieved these qualifications but discovered my earning potential was capped. Being somewhat ambitious, I continued to work towards chartered status, but I vividly remember feeling quite disheartened when I realised there was no more personal or financial recognition. I knew there had to be more to life than being stuck in a rut with no opportunities for progression.
Fortunately, Forever found me in February 2014. My mum had recently started Forever and, as you can imagine, I was fairly negative and sceptical. This was due to being fully immersed in the rat race. However, after taking a look at the business opportunity I could immediately see the huge potential and the time and freedom it would give me.
I grabbed the opportunity and ran with it despite being struck by negativity from people, and I hit my first promotion in seven weeks – I felt as if I needed to prove to friends and family that the business worked. Despite this, my journey to Senior Manager was not the fastest; it took me sixteen months to get here but I learnt a lot about myself along the way. I came across challenges and obstacles and I realised that not everyone will immediately see what I saw.
My ultimate goal was to ‘sack the boss’, and in January 2015 I wrote this goal down and noted that I wanted to handmy notice in by September 2015 – and that’s exactly what I did! Goal-setting is a very powerful thing and it’s incredible to think I am now a free lady. Forever has enabled me to travel more and it enabled me to purchase my dream car outright – I don’t say this to impress anyone, but to impress upon the power of Forever. I am only just beginning, and now my mission is to serve and help many others create the life of their dreams as well.
"I knew there had to be more to life than being stuck in a rut with no opportunities for progression."
REBUILDING A FUTURE
You never know what life is going to throw at you and when something affects your health it can be difficult to see a way out. Supervisor Mike Fielder eventually found the light at the end of his tunnel, but the journey getting there was far from a smooth ride.
I suffered a herniated disc when I was eighteen years old and I’ve lived with pain ever since. When I was twenty-one I had an operation but they made a real mess of it and refused to believe me when I told them the pain was worse.
It wasn’t until eight years later, when MRI scans were available, that the doctors realised I had three prolapsed discs and a compressed spinal canal. The situation was pretty serious and I had to re-mortgage my house to pay for a private operation the following month. Fortunately the surgery was successful.
Everything was fine for ten years and I was even able to start my own construction business. My business was a success and everything was going well until one morning, whilst rushing around getting ready for work, I tripped and fell down the stairs.
I undid all the good work the surgeon had done and I was eventually told that a further operation would do more harm than good. My body was starting to fuse the vertebrae on its own and the pain was unbearable. I did try to live a normal life but the pain was making me lose all concentration and common sense.
It was during this time that I noticed an old friend posting on Facebook about a company called Forever. At first I took no notice, but after a few months I decided to find out more and I was invited along to a Business Presentation.
I spent the whole hour trying to find fault with the business, and when I couldn't I jumped on board. I needed a new future, but what I found was nothing short of a miracle.
The products have been amazing, I'm now building a fantastic business with my own team, and I can't wait to qualify for the incentives in the future. Forever has been the physical and
mental vehicle I needed to get my life back on track, and I can't recommend the opportunity highly enough.
"I needed a new future, but what I found was nothing short of a miracle."
BELIEVE AND ACHIEVE
When I was a little girl I didn’t know what I wanted to be when I grew up, and every time I was asked my answer would change. I always knew I was good with people and wanted to make a difference, but I guess I didn’t have clear goals…
Eventually the career I fell into was in learning and development; I was helping people and I felt proud, and I assumed I’d carry on until I was ready to retire. However, things changed in 2011 when I injured my spine and couldn't work for months. In the end they made my role redundant and I spent my days alone, unable to move without medication, and with the knowledge that I had no job to go to. I sunk into depression but instead of seeking counselling, I just got on with it. Life carried on, I had surgery, got a new job, and got together with my best friend Ricky. I was happy again and we
discovered we were expecting a baby; Jack was born and things were perfect!
I was made redundant again whilst on maternity leave, and, out of desperation, I took on a fixed-term contract and forfeited some maternity leave and pay.
This is when I met my sponsor. I decided to start a Forever business as I was nervous about the corporate world and felt insecure with having a child. I saw the potential instantly and knew that I was where I needed to be. I could genuinely help people to change their lives. It fit, it felt right and I was excited.
I got to work, absorbed everything, attended every training and Success Express, and I stalked the leaders to see what they were doing. I hit two promotions straight away but that didn’t mean things were perfect. I had given myself some massive goals and got frustrated when I didn’t hit them. I had to have an honest conversation with myself and that’s when I identified that my mindset wasn’t right. I had let my past experiences affect my confidence
and deep down I didn’t believe I was capable of success. I started to work on my mindset and already I’ve noticed a change in my motivation. I have some amazing goals that I know are realistic and achievable, I believe in myself again and I know Forever believes in me and
has given me all the tools required to succeed.
"I could genuinely help people to change their lives.
It fit, it felt right and I was excited."
FOREVER FITS AROUND YOU
Forever found Danielle Downey at a time when she was struggling financially. Her best friend gently spoke about it and left the Business Brochure on her table, and that's when Danielle began to wonder if it really was possible to earn extra around a busy job and six children...
The price of the Business Owner Box was a massive stumbling block for me, we just
didn't have the money. However, I decided I wanted to give it a go so I saved for two
months and, on payday (28th September 2014), I chose to buy the box rather than
some much needed tyres! I made my money back in the first month, plus an extra £150, and from that moment I never looked back.
Before Forever I was working as a domestic abuse advocate. I loved the job but the pay was not that good and I struggled to work it around six children and a husband who was often away on business.
I loved that I could fit my new Forever business into the nooks and crannies of my life. I’d listen to training in the car on my drive to work, and I’d start Forever-work every night once the children were settled in bed. It grew slowly, but as my business and income grew so did my confidence. I began to put myself forward to speak on webinars, and I studied hard to be the best mentor I could possibly be to my ever-growing team. I realised that the more I invested in others by helping them to achieve their goals, the more we all gained.
Ten months after starting my journey I waved goodbye to my job and started to work my Forever business full time.
Two months later I became a Manager and I’ve also been able to help many of my team reach their goals. I have made lifelong friends along the way and I love the
comradery and support given by everyone I meet. I take my children to school and
I’m usually the only crazy person shouting from the side-lines when my children play
sports on weekday afternoons. My son started private school in September, paid
for by my income, and I have been able to shed two stone through a weekly personal
training session. Forever has benefitted my family, my mindset, my health, my
confidence, my finances and my team, and I will remain forever grateful to Rex for
devising such a phenomenal opportunity.
"I loved that I could fit my new Forever business into the nooks and crannies of my life."
AN INSPIRING SUCCESS
Emma’s background is in holistic therapy and nutrition, and she even runs a successful spray tan business. She started her Forever business three years ago but didn’t take it seriously until 2015...
In 2010 my husband and I were in a car accident which resulted in me having major health problems. For three years I endured tests, MRI scans, and my health was under constant investigation. I was on morphine and a concoction of various drugs before they found I had osteoarthritis, facet joint disease and, after two years, they finally diagnosed me with ME. I spent most of my time in bed, pumped with pills and I thought I would never get better – it was an awful way to exist. Three years later, in September 2013, I started my Forever journey. I did the C9 and although I had great results I thought no more of it until April 2015. I had just returned from Thailand and I was sifting through holiday pictures when I realised I had seriously let myself go. My health was a mess, my life was a mess, and my mindset was horrendous. I am a mum of six beautiful kids – Cherry-Blossom, Sally-Cinnamon, Travis, Flower-Joan, River-Lennon Leaf and Thai-Star – so I knew I had to do something, and I knew I had to do it for my children.
I decided to do another C9 and the results were amazing. Camilla, my sponsor, encouraged me to share my results with the world and from this I sold many more C9. I felt amazing and I loved every minute of my journey; no-one could walk past me without knowing about aloe – I really was a walking product of the product. In March 2015 I attended a QLS weekend and I was so inspired that I walked away knowing I was going to get to Manager, and in the May, with help from my amazing team, I achieved that promotion. It’s not been easy and it’s a constant commitment, but I want to encourage those who are struggling to just keep going. Sometimes you have to look to those who believe in you and shadow
their belief – I couldn't have done it without the support I received from Ange Loughran and Camilla!
I am aiming to give my family a bigger home, but I also want to enjoy more free time with them to make up for those three years I lost. I’m deaf, have ADHD and I’m number dyslexic so it takes me ages to learn anything, but today I’m a true retailer and I’m proud to tell people that I love Forever.
"no-one could walk past me without knowing about aloe – I really was a walking product of the product."
TAKE BACK CONTROL
At twenty-four years old I was fresh out of police training and fully expecting to work as a police officer for the rest of my working life. I thoroughly enjoyed my job and was willing to work the long shifts, but after the birth of my daughter my priorities changed…
I became a single parent when my daughter was three and I really struggled
with shift work. The long hours and overwhelming feeling of guilt was too much and I realised I needed something else. In 2013 my friend introduced me to Forever and although I didn’t have a clue what she was talking about, I trusted her. I had a good feeling about Forever and I liked the idea of earning an extra few hundred pounds so that I could reduce my police hours.
When I achieved Supervisor I was able to reduce my hours, but then I was told I couldn’t have time off over Christmas, including Christmas day. That’s when I decided to take back control and I made plans to take a five-year career break starting in August 2015. After making this decision, people would comment how it was a good idea just taking a break in case Forever didn’t work out, but the thought of going back really scared me. It still felt like the police controlled me and I was already dreading going back.
It took me a few months to adjust – I had spent eleven years as a police officer – but I really struggled to find a daily routine, let alone work a business from home. Over the months my business fell away, but I never lost sight of what I wanted from Forever, it was just taking me a lot longer than expected. In May 2016 I decided enough was enough; I resigned from the police and suddenly a weight was lifted.
I am now rebuilding my business whilst working part-time in an office, which I really enjoy. I feel in complete control of my life and I am doing things that I was never able to commit to before. I play and coach football, I’ve achieved my FA Level 1 Coaching Award, I’ve become a school governor for my daughter’s school, I’ve taken up running and I also completed the Paris marathon in April 2016 – this was a huge achievement for me.
Forever opened up my eyes to what is possible, it made me see that there are other options. I now have time; time to spend with my daughter, time to take her to school and pick her up again, and that is absolutely invaluable.
My advice to anyone who is feeling like their business isn’t progressing is to take some time and invest in yourself, but most importantly you should never give up on your dream, despite how rocky the journey is.
"I feel in complete control of my life and I am doing things that I was never able to commit to before."
PERSISTENCE PAYS OFF
I have been a multisport athlete for a number of years but in 2015 I suffered a serious injury that set me back by nearly eight months. During this time I had an operation that forced me into a sedentary lifestyle. I lost all fitness, put on over two stone in weight, and I was seriously unhealthy when Forever found me in June 2015…
Whilst in recovery I began to slowly build my business, develop relationships and learn more about the opportunity, but I was still in no position to drive or do anything active. I found myself in a serious rut: I had been made redundant from my job as a teacher, I was unable to do any serious manual work, and I was slowly drifting into depression. I had to do something so in October I set myself the challenge to get back to peak fitness within five months – I wanted to be ready in time for the Great British European Duathlon Championships in Kalkar, Germany. I threw myself into a rigorous regime of training and daily supplementation. I started with the C9 and then built on my fitness and weight loss by integrating products such as Forever Aloe Vera Gel, Argi+, Forever Lite Ultra and Forever Therm into my exercise schedule. As each month passed my fitness, strength and speed improved, my resting heart rate dropped, and my threshold capabilities developed. By the time the Team GB European Championships were in sight, I had increased my power averages on my bike by 30% and my average run paces were at a point I had never
reached before – even pre-injury! I went into the competition with less than six months’ training and I managed to come out with a bronze medal. When I arrived back in the UK I decided to give the National Standard Distance Duathlon Championship a go. I didn’t have long to train but I had Argi+, Forever Freedom and Forever Lite Ultra on my side and I managed to leave with a silver medal!
This business has also benefited me as a sport and triathlon coach; it’s been helpful having a base of products that uphold the same values – ethical, natural, healthy – and Forever is now an intrinsic part of my life. My athletes, clients and community have seen first-hand the transformation in my own health and fitness, and many of them have had similar (and often better) results. Being able to discuss my experience of the C9 and F.I.T. programme has been essential in forming relationships and supporting clients on their own journeys, but this is all just the beginning! In July next year I plan to work with Global F.I.T. Ambassador Mike Butterworth and undertake seven ironman triathlons in seven days, and I'll be utilising a whole range of Forever products to ensure success.
"Forever is now an intrinsic part of my life."
In pursuit of happiness by Charlene Salmon – Supervisor
I’m a single mother to a beautiful three year old boy called Alexander; he has been my source of true happiness and comfort since losing my younger brother to suicide in 2009. When my brother died, I lost so much of who I was; I had no idea of how to be, and my sense of purpose derailed.
Although dealing with his death continues to be hard, I know I live a fortunate life: I have worked hard to build a solid career and run my own marketing consultancy – which provides a healthy income. I own my own home, I have family and wonderful friends, but even with this in place, my son was the only one who made me truly happy. However, I knew it was unfair to place the entire reason for my happiness on his tiny shoulders; it’s far too much responsibility for someone so small.
I came to join Forever when Lucy Snell approached me via LinkedIn. Although we had never met, we both worked at the same place during different times. She sent me a link to watch, and even though I didn’t understand anything about the business, I jumped straight in – I am always up for a piece of the action! Since joining, there have been huge changes in me as a person, and I have finally found something that has given me direction – I now have a focus like I’ve never had before.
As I worked towards Supervisor, much of my time was spent getting to grips with the business and Marketing Plan. This enabled me to recruit confidently, but I also made sure I used and understood the products. I definitely have an emotional connection to the products and I’m able to recommend them to others with ease. From a personal development point of view, Forever has encouraged me to do things I may not have done before: I have come out of my comfort zone, set goals, made big plans, learnt new skills and focused heavily on my mindset. All this has caused my inner confidence to grow to a level I didn’t even know existed. I’m sure the money will come, but the way I feel now outweighs any monetary value – I have finally found something else that makes me happy. Forever is the start of something huge inmy life; I cannot wait to see where the journey takes me.
Forever Flexible by Lynne Fryer – Assistant Manager
I joined Forever when I learnt I could earn money from home by working flexibly around my daughter and my university course.
I’ve been a single parent since my daughter was born, and although I have a professional background in marketing, I was told I couldn’t return to work part time due to 'business requirements' – whatever that means! I fought the decision, and ultimately got nowhere, so I got another job. However, I quickly lost this when my daughter developed a lung condition and I had to take time off. For twelve months I found myself stuck in a pattern of starting new jobs and losing them for being 'unreliable'; eventually enough was enough.
I'd never been on benefits before but suddenly this was starting to look like the only (and better) option. Instead I decided to go to university to study. I figured I would only be hurting myself if I had to rush off to collect my daughter from nursery; by being at university I wouldn't have the pressure of letting employers down. However, I knew that when I finished for summer I would have to get a job again to see me through until September, but I was scared. Scared of letting people down and being spoken to like I wasn’t capable of doing my job.
When my friend told me about Forever, I had just been diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, which meant I was suffering with male-pattern baldness. I was intrigued by the products and started drinking the Aloe Vera Gel and I also did the C9.
I became so emotionally attached to these products that I knew I had to join. Since joining Forever I have made a lot more friends – my Forever family – and not only am I earning money, I can now fit work around my daughter, who is three, AND continue to study. My daughter will always be the most important thing to me, but my Forever business is a very close second – I've definitely got my sense of spirit back!
Never settle for second best by Kelly & Ben Colley – Soaring Managers
Kelly and Ben Colley lived a hectic, stressful and fear-filled lifestyle before they found Forever. Now they are stronger than ever and their business continues to soar...
Our background is in the NHS. I had been a paramedic for eighteen years and Ben had been in the ambulance service for ten. We only had three days off each month as a family, and times were hard. Although we earned a decent wage, we had no life and we missed having valuable time with our daughter, who was five years old at the time. It was evident that working twelve to fourteen-hour shifts, seven days a week, was taking its toll on us as a family.
We became deeply unhappy in our circumstances and I got to a point where I’d actually cry before going to work. We just couldn't see a way out. Then, in October 2013, when I was working solo in the rapid response car, I got assaulted at work for the second time that year. This time it scared me. I was pinned against a wall by my throat, and my shoulder was damaged as he ripped the emergency radio from my hand; I was terrified for my life, particularly when the man wouldn't let me leave the flat.
After this incident I took sick leave to have physio and it was during this time that I decided we needed to change our lives. It was December 2013 when Ben and I sat at our dining room table and tried to think of what else we could do. I hadn’t done anything else since leaving school so I was unsure of myself and my skills; how could I start something new?
Then, in January 2014, I saw an advert for the C9. Since I’m an avid dieter, I decided to buy the C9 from a stranger via Facebook, and I was so pleased with the results that I asked to look at the business opportunity as well. I met up with Katie Forbes – now my sponsor – and I decided to join the same day. Ben was very sceptical and had no interest for the first six weeks (in which time I progressed up to Supervisor). But I knew from day one that this was my way out of the ambulance service, and Ben’s negativity only drove me more. I made Assistant Manager in nine weeks and Manager in eleven; by this time he was 100% on board and supporting me in my new venture. I returned back to work in March 2014 but I was only back for two weeks when the person that assaulted me decided he would put in a complaint about me, claiming that I assaulted him. This was the final nail in the coffin. In October 2014 we both handed in our notices to focus on Forever full-time. This was the scariest thing we had ever done, but also the most exciting. We realised that this had to work for us so we put every single available minute into it, banishing the negativity we faced from family. Promotions and incentives were all written down and dated so we knew that they would be achieved, and sure enough we started to tick them off one by one. It’s definitely true that if you write goals down they will be achieved. Ben used to write daily affirmations in a journal and at first I thought he was mad – but it worked. We also had to carefully consider our time management by segregating our time and using it wisely.
Before Forever we were led to believe that life is about going to work for a set wage each month and spending more time in the office than with your family. But I’ve learnt you should never settle for second best. Now we are Soaring Managers and Senior Eagle Managers earning an income that we never believed possible. Instead we spend every minute of our time with our daughter – who is our world – and now we will never miss a single moment.
Keep things practical by Samantha Webb – Senior Manager
I joined Forever in November 2012 and I managed to achieve Supervisor within the first two months, but I ended up staying at this position for a year; it turned out I had recruited people who didn’t have the same vision I did!
I was frustrated as my business wasn't going anywhere and I felt stuck. I had also had a lot of bad luck with Lucia, my daughter – she was in and out of hospital – and I also felt my partner didn't believe in me 100%. However, I was determined not to give up as I could see the potential Forever could offer me and my family.
Another problem was that, in the beginning, I never took the goal-setting seriously. When I did finally give it a go, the following month, I hit Assistant Manager and Manager. I couldn’t believe it and it was at that moment that I decided to take goal-setting more seriously; I got to work and created a dream board. However, every time I tried to set myself an ambitious goal, I felt like something was holding me back. People’s comments would make me doubt myself and I’d be made to think they were too unrealistic and way out of reach. This was a huge setback for me and definitely slowed my business down. It became clear that something needed to change so I took some time out of my business to work on my self-belief. I read several motivational books and invested in my mindset by listening to ‘My Blueprints’ by Dave O’Connor every morning and evening. This helped to block out the negativity and I very quickly started to see a difference in my business. I made sure I was consistent with my activity, leafleting, carding and contacting my market every week; I've even found a couple of diamonds lately because of this activity. I once heard Julianna Beavan share a statement at a Managers’ event I attended. She said, "Prosperity and abundance is coming my way. Come on champion let's get to work; how many lives are we going to change today?" I now say this to myself out loud every morning, and Lucia always finishes it off shouting, “I'm gonna find my diamond!”
A passion for business by Daniel Watson – Manager
In a business saturated by headstrong women, Daniel Watson, an undefeated professional boxer and tattoo artist from Bolton, certainly stands out from the crowd. Our Editor, Kate Hodge, caught up with him at his studio – which is no ordinary tattoo studio – to find out more about why Daniel, a reformed fighter, decided to join Forever.
Why did you decide to look at Forever?
I have been tattooing now for ten years and I love what I do, but my main passion has always been business. I had always been interested in network marketing and I researched several companies, but few offered me something I could believe in. That’s when my physio (now mentor), Alison Thompson, introduced me to Forever.
It was July 6th 2015, just two days after I had spoken to Alison, when I decided to sign up. With her help I had my first product launch party; I invited my mum and her friends, my sister and her friends and also some people that I thought may be interested in joining my business. It was a success, and from this I managed to get a few regular customers and my first few team members. Within twenty days I had been promoted to Supervisor, and I decided that I was going to by-pass Assistant Manager and go straight for Manager instead.
How did you see the business fitting in with your lifestyle?
I decided to capitalise on the fact I am a male in a predominantly female business; I certainly wasn’t going to let it worry me. I knew I had many male friends that would do well, and I knew once they saw me achieving they would join too, and many have. Integrating the products into my daily life became a natural thing;
Argi+ and the shakes fit with my sporting side and the Aloe Vera Gelly can even be used on tattoos once they have passed the initial healing point. I also often do the C9 and post my progress on Facebook, and since my network knows I’m a professional boxer, the good results I achieve help build belief in the products.
Why do you think you have been so successful?
I was determined to achieve Manager in August, and by the 16th of the month I had successfully secured the position. Part of this fast progression was down to the support I was giving to my customers. I asked them to recommend the products to anyone they thought would benefit from them, and within no time I had around twenty customers and ten people on my team. People keep asking me what my secret is, but it just takes hard work and dedication; anyone can do it as everything you need is already there for you. The products appeal to a wide range of people so it’s easy to connect with a market, but I’m not afraid to get stuck in – I’ll happily run a makeup party if necessarily!
I also focus a lot of my time on studying the business. I knew that developing my knowledge would form a massive part of effective prospecting, and I wanted to be able to quickly answer any question or doubt. I live and breathe business, and those that know me know I wouldn’t risk investing my time in something that doesn’t work.
Keep pushing forward by Lauren Showering – Senior Manager
My background is in hospitality management, which I initially worked alongside my psychology degree, but after graduating I couldn’t find a graduate job, so continued in this field. I enjoyed it to start with, but when our boys came along it became difficult to fit around family life. I was underpaid, childcare was expensive, and I felt like I was missing out on precious time with my children.
I found Forever in March 2014 and thought I’d give it a go. Initially I just saw it as a means to make ends meet, but after I attended Success Express, I was absolutely blown away. I could see such excitement, and seeing all the people recognised for their incredible achievements made me think about how there’s no reason that couldn’t be me.
I started to build a team alongside retailing, working on my mind-set and learning as much as I could about the business. I made Manager in eight months – even a broken leg didn’t stop me! By this time I had quit my job and was working the business around our children; never missing a moment.
I was determined to keep pushing forward and made Senior Manager in April 2015 with thanks to support from my incredible team and amazing upline – my sponsor, Teri Hooper, and my mentor, Louise Mackenzie. I’m now the family breadwinner and we’ve made the decision that James will get more involved in the business. He truly believes in me and has been my absolute rock throughout this incredible journey. Our goal is to get him out of his job as a
prison officer within the next year and run the business together. I’m incredibly excited to see what 2015 will bring for us and for our amazing team. We are keen to help them all achieve the big incentives and hopefully get them to next year’s Global Rally in South Africa. We may have big goals, but I fully believe that we can succeed.
Living the dream by Julianna Woods – Sapphire Manager
Julianna Woods has been involved in Forever since 2009, but in the beginning she had to overcome her self-doubt, and believe that her dreams really could become reality…
How has your life changed since becoming an FBO?
Before Forever I was working as a team leader for Lloyds TSB Insurance, but the role didn’t provide the security and flexibility I was looking for; ultimately I wanted to be my own boss. I honestly don’t know where I would be today if I was still working for Lloyds; my previous partner left me with £33,000 worth of debt and there is no way I would have been able to pay that off on my previous income. Plus the financial constraint would have meant I’d struggle to start a family. Now I’m about to get married, I’m completely debt-free, my monthly income is double what my annual salary used to be, and I am able to give my children everything, including being around for them at home.
Today my life is unrecognisable: I am living in my dream house, driving amazing cars, and I honestly don’t have a worry in the
world. Forever has given me complete peace of mind. Sometimes, when I think about my life, I think I’m dreaming; any minute I’ll wake up and be back in reality. So when I do actually digest that it is real, and it is happening to me – a little girl who now lives on the side of a mountain in Pontypool – I can’t help but burst into tears. It’s so overwhelming.
Was your progression to Sapphire an easy achievement?
It definitely took a lot of hard work and dedication. I had to work on myself – my mind-set and self-belief – but I think the activities surrounding recruitment are actually fairly simple. Working on my inner-self was certainly the hardest part for me to overcome since I grew up in a family that constantly struggled; I just couldn’t get used to the idea of having more than I’d always known. I learnt a lot from Dave O’Connor and Natalie Heeley; they helped me believe that it was within my grasp. I still have to work on my mind-set every day; I’m not the finished article (I doubt I ever will be), but I am more discerning about the way I think and the way I manage my time with people. I never ever thought that I’d have a life like I am living; I just didn’t think stuff like this would happen to people like me.How do you motivate your team?I don’t necessarily think you can motivate anyone; to be honest, to really succeed, I think they need to be willing and have that drive in them. But what I do think you can do is inspire someone. Encouraging others to find out what their goals and dreams are can really release someone into the business, and helping them to build up their mind-set, so that they believe in themselves, will enable them to realise that they can achieve anything if they put their mind to it.
What useful advice would you like to share?
My advice will always be to stay active:
continue to contact five brand new people a day, be persistent and consistent, and come from a place of contribution – I always try to take myself off the agenda so that others can reach their full potential. But most of all remember that your mind-set is the most important aspect; it is this thatcan have significant influence on you and your success.
My background is in admin, a role I fell into from school because I thought it was the only thing I was good at, and I had lost all my confidence through a difficult marriage which led to an unpleasant divorce. All of a sudden I had become a single mum whose life revolved around looking after my three incredible children.
My life transformed after I went to a friend’s party. I listened to the Forever business opportunity and realised that this could be a way to earn a few extra hundred pounds – I liked the idea of being able to afford a holiday abroad. Despite the incentive, I still held many fears regarding signing up: I have never been good at selling, and the thought of standing up in front of people at a launch made me feel sick. However, I was at a point in life where my children had grown up and flown the nest, and I longed to go abroad, but my salary just didn’t stretch to this.
I finally decided to ignore my concerns and sign up, and with full support from my partner, children, family and friends, I have managed to sell products, hold launches and grow a retail business, even though 4CCs seemed unachievable in the first couple of months. These achievements are a product of sheer determination and a whole lot of practice! I would practice everywhere: in the car, the bath, the mirror...on my children, friends and family. I was sick of hearing my voice – but it worked. After about four months, people started to see my new-found confidence and I was surprised when they asked to join my team. This is where the excitement really begun and before I knew it I had eight team members, had achieved my level one and two 4CCs pin, had progressed to Assistant Manager, and mentored one of my team to Supervisor. Now I wake up excited every day, and although I squeeze the role in aroundmy full-time job, I can’t wait to get toa point where I can earn enough tore-evalute this situation. I reallywish someone had told me about Forever years ago!
Life can be unpredictable, unwelcome challenges can often be thrown our way, but it’s often how we choose to handle these situations that will then shape our future…
When we first started Forever in March 2013, our plan was to buy a home in the South of France. We had this set for August and Forever was going to help pay off our outstanding debt in order to get us there. However, unfortunately our situation changed when my dad was diagnosed with cancer in the June. Then, in July, I went for an early pregnancy scan which detected a sizeable tumor, and suddenly our South of France dream was going to have to stay exactly that; a dream.
Since signing up I had worked the business well and I hit Assistant Manager within three months. My sales were good and the money was welcomed from the team-leading bonuses, but these unfortunate circumstances sent me into a downward spiral; my focus shifted from the team to self-pity. The flights that were booked for our move turned into a holiday and once home I returned to work – a forty-hour week for no more than minimum wage! I was heavily pregnant, maternity leave was looming and we had no savings. A short while later I found myself watching Louise Perry tell her story at a Success Express event. As I listened I was an emotional wreck, but it hit home: if there is anything that will support my family should anything happen, it is Forever. I reconnected with my upline, Jaime Cayzer, and we set out a plan. I worked the business religiously knowing that whatever I put in I would get back tenfold. Fast forward twelve months and my health is good, our business has gone from strength to strength and, by working with the support of the team and by helping them achieve their goals, I progressed up the Marketing Plan and achieved several incentives along the way. What this business has offered us is life-changing and being able to share it with friends is an amazing feeling. Now we live in confidence, knowing that the South of France is no longer a dream – it’s a goal; a goal that we are back on track to achieve.
For the past nine years I have been working as a qualified PE teacher, and so when I first learnt about Forever I didn’t see the opportunity as more than a means of extra income. However, after about two months – once I’d carried out some heavy research and retailing – I found myself hooked.
I quickly fell in love with the company when I saw how my business, and my wonderful uplines, could flourish. I too then started to recruit others and I loved sharing the opportunity. I now have an amazing team that consists of both existing and new friends, and I am so grateful for how they are all helping me with my journey.
Marcus Leach, one of our Forever Global F.I.T. Ambassadors, is taking part in multiple events and challenges during the summer months. One of his biggest challenge this year is the upcoming Tour du Mont Blanc – it’s described as the ‘world’s toughest one day bike race’! On Saturday 16th July, Marcus will be cycling 300km with 8000m of ascent across three countries. We caught up with Marcus to ask him a few questions on his preparation for the event. Excited and nervous for the challenge ahead, Marcus has said: “It’s hard to explain just how much this means to me; I’ve poured so much into this over the past twelve months. I just have to do it now, and the waiting for it is almost torturous”.

Leap to London – the incentive you simply can’t afford to ignore
October-06-2023
You’re probably aware of the recently announced Leap to London incentive – your opportunity to qualify for the first European Forever event in 2024, which we are incredibly excited and proud to be hosting! What is Leap to London?
Over 2,000 Forever Business Owners will be gathered at Magazine in London from the 2nd to the 4th of February, where qualifiers will enjoy two nights hotel accommodation, three days at the event including a training, Success Day, access to an exclusive party and, training and inspiration as well as £150 or €150 travel compensation.
Why are incentives important in building your business?
Forever Business Owner, Aine French, has qualified for numerous Forever incentives including Eagle Managers’ Retreat and the June ‘Yes You Cannes’ incentive, and says, “Incentives have been life-changing for me. I grasped early on how incentives could drive my business. As a single Mum, my need to join Forever was all about income and in the beginning, I had little confidence and self-belief. Fast forward to now and I can’t overstate how important the recognition, and opportunity to travel and meet other Forever Business Owners has been for me. Inspiring and energising me to build my business, building my confidence and skills through those interactions and the training at those events. I really am a different person; personal achievement and recognition build you in ways you can’t even begin to imagine.
From a practical perspective, the short-term focus required over the qualifying period really helps me to define my activities daily, track my progress and stay motivated with a very clear vision of what I need to achieve over that time frame and how I am going to do it. I bought my ticket to Cannes within days of that incentive being announced, I was absolutely determined that I was going to qualify. What makes me particularly excited about Leap to London is that is also so achievable for my team and being in London with them will be the icing on the cake for me. I really do have the most special memories from my Forever trips and I want everyone to experience that too.”
Eagle Manager, Bernie Rafferty, who delivered her own tips for success on the first ‘London is Calling – Committed to Leap to London’ webinar added, “With the qualifying period being part of the run-up to Christmas, this incentive is so achievable. Incentives drive your business wherever you are on the Marketing Plan. They are powerful because you feel you are making progress and small increases are the stepping stones to bigger increases. Honing the skills in recruiting and helping your team members grow their businesses is fundamental to long-term success. This incentive provides that focus and the results will build your business and set you up for further growth and success in 2024.”

Our world-famous aloe goats fertilise the fields naturally
Forever aloe fields house over fifty million aloe vera plants, so these fields will cleanse the earth of millions of tons of CO2 in their lifetime

The striker has scored 21 goals and holds the World Record for the fastest ever goal at International Level, scored in 11 seconds against Georgia in 2016 (even more impressive is that Georgia kicked off...).

Simone’s successful career along with her strong work ethic and determination make her an inspiring role model for so many young women who also dream of becoming professional footballers.
Why did Simone become a Forever ambassador?

Having ‘Video Call Ready’ Skin That Glows and Video Practical Tips
March-12-2021
Our skin works incredibly hard every day to protect our bodies from UV rays, harsh weather, injuries, pain and other external factors which cause stress. If you want to have great skin, it is crucial that you make your skincare regime an essential part of your morning and evening routine so that the process becomes a habit that’s as frequent as brushing your teeth! In today’s world full of zoom meetings and video chats, healthy, vibrant skin is something we all want.
Here are a few tips for having Video Call Ready skin that will help not only boost your confidence, but also give a few practical tips on making your end of the call visually appealing. We will take a little longer on this first step as it is with your skin, the last four are just a few brief suggestions on lighting, position and other things to remember on a call.
1) Take Great Care of Skin - Yes, it really is noticed!
Several years ago, Forever made a forward-thinking move to revitalise and reinvent many of its skin care products. The result was the Sonya Daily Skincare System for oily and combination skin, and the Infinite by ForeverAdvanced Skincare System for dry and mature skin. With our flagship ingredient aloe as the top ingredient in many of our skincare products, these products can be mixed and matched depending on your skin type.
Understand Your Skin Type
But first, seek to understand and identify your skin type. Dry skin is usually tight, flaky and sensitive, while oily skin is usually shiny and can have ‘troubled’ areas. Both skin types are easily identified. However, combination skin, which has the largest demographic of 18-45 year olds, are individuals who don’t know what their skin type is as weather, stress, and hormones can cause fluctuation between dry, oily and normal patches in different seasons.
The Sonya Daily Skincare System
The Sonya Daily Skincare System has four products to restore balance to combination skin, leaving it feeling hydrated and soft. For all ages from 12+, this range contains a high concentration of aloe and a hydra-infused, gel-based system that gently targets skin to improve its overall look and feel and its lightweight textures absorb into the skin quickly. Sonya Refreshing Gel Cleanser is a soap free formula that supports combination and oily skin as it doesn’t leave skin feeling tight and dehydrated. Wash away dirt, debris and make-up with a slight lather created from a combination of ingredients like apple amino acids and Acacia Concinna, a climbing shrub native to Asia. Cold-pressed Baobab oil, which has vitamins A, E which moisturises the skin and leaves skin feeling soothed and moisturised. Use twice daily on the face and neck. Sonya Illuminating Gel’s purpose is to even/brighten the overall appearance of the skin tone and texture—to give it a natural glow. A quick absorbing gel and highly concentrated, which helps to even skin tone and brightens skin’s overall appearance, reduce appearance of large pores, and softens the appearance of age spots. Use twice daily on face and neck after you cleanse.
The Sonya Refining Gel Mask promotes healthy skin tone and supports fluctuations of combination skin. Growing by 300% globally, sleeping masks are an emerging trend that nourishes your skin while you sleep as our body and skin perform differently at night while we rest. Use 2–3 times a week after applying Sonya Illuminating Gel and before bedtime and rinse skin the next morning. Sonya Soothing Gel Moisturizer is great for all skin types but especially useful for combination and oily skin as it’s hydra-infused, gel-based formula balances the moisture of water/oils in the skin. Scientifically advanced linoleic acid and hydrolysed collagen, ensures it goes into the skin where it’s needed, and phytic acid is a powerful support for combination skin, to improve the look of your complexion. Use twice daily on the face and neck after applying Illuminating Gel or for added moisturising after applying Refining Gel Mask.
Infinite by Forever Advanced Skincare System
The Infinite by ForeverAdvanced Skincare System has been designed to work together for mature or dry skin to give you beautiful skin from the inside out and the outside in. The four products target the appearance of skin ageing with formulas that work together for a complete daily routine.
With over fifteen skin conditioning ingredients, Infinite Restoring Crème absorbs fast to leave skin feeling moisturised and smooth. This moisturiser combines science and aloe with powerful botanicals, including acai and pomegranate, and vitamin B3 to help even out skin tone and texture. Use daily to reinforce the skin’s natural barrier, replenish parched skin and further reduce the appearance of ageing. Infinite Hydrating Cleanser is full of potent, naturally derived ingredients like apple extract, apple amino acid and cocoa fatty acids that increase skin hydration and gently wash away dirt and oil without drying. This mild, milky cleanser will leave skin feeling hydrated, soft and clean to lay a solid foundation for the rest of your anti-ageing routine. Infinite Firming Serum targets the signs of ageing with a clinically proven three-amino acid peptide that complements the natural process of skin to increase firmness and to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Paired with powerful natural ingredients and our patented aloe, Infinite Firming Serum is a rich serum that makes skin feel smooth and firm, and your complexion appears visibly younger.
Focus on nutrient skincare with Infinite Firming Complex, Forever’s first exclusive beauty supplement. This supplement is an inner conditioning complex that helps target the appearance of premature ageing and it’s been specially formulated to assist beauty from within. We’ve combined vitamin C to help with healthy collagen formation in the skin, biotin to maintain healthy hair and skin, and we’ve even added extra marine collagen.
For best results, apply the Infinite Hydrating Cleanser, Infinite Firming Serum and Infinite Restoring Crème every morning, and then repeat this process every evening before bed. We also recommend you take two of the InfiniteFirming Complex tablets in the morning every day.
Forever’s Targeted Range
Instead of creating too many products within those two systems, Forever established a range that sat in between the two that would provide a compliment to each skincare line. The Targeted Range purposed to hold products that customers could pick depending on their needs, concerns and preferences offering ‘extra’s that can be used on a daily or as needed basis.
Here are few products from The Targeted Range:
Thanks to peptide technology, collagen and other powerful ingredients, Awaking Eye Cream smooths and firms delicate under-eye skin to help reduce the appearance of wrinkles, dark circles and puffiness. This non-greasy formula can be applied as needed and targets the upper eyelid and the delicate skin around the eye, resulting in plumper, firmer skin around the eye area. Hydrating properties reduce water loss, and eyes appear rested, alert and renewed.
Combination skin fluctuates between dry and oily when the skin is out of balance because of pH levels or because the acid mantle, the delicate top layer of the skin, is damaged. Forever’s Balancing Toner addresses both by bringing skin into balance to refresh, rehydrate, and balance. It’s designed to remove excess dirt, minimise the appearance of pores and hydrate the skin before moisturising, and after cleansing. It alsocontains a unique blend of seaweed extract and a form of hyaluronic acid, dubbed the ‘molecular sponge’, thanks to its water attracting properties. Smoothing Exfoliator helps your skin look brighter by removing debris and dead skin cells. Jojoba beads gently roll across the skin to remove debris while sustainably sourced Korean bamboo powder, a large granule that doesn’t scratch the skin, sweeps the skin to remove dead skin cells. Enzymatic extracts resurface the skin from bromelain (from pineapple), papain (unripe papaya) and moisturising lemon essential oil. Regular exfoliation paves the way for other products to perform as it removes the barrier of dead skin cells, and is recommended 2-3 times a week in a skincare routine, though with men, it can be used daily to help promote a closer shave.
Forever’s award-winning Aloe Bio-cellulose Mask provides potent, energising hydration using forward-thinking technology and natural ingredients. Its bio-cellulose fibres fit the contours of your face to deeply moisturise and to ensure every impressive botanical penetrates the fine lines and wrinkles traditional sheet masks cannot reach. Through a process unique to Forever, Aloe Bio-Cellulose Mask’s formula fuses pure aloe and seagrass with the bio-cellulose fabric to soothe, soften and condition skin. This environmentally friendly, biodegradable mask has also been enriched by a moisturising serum of green tea and horse chestnut that rejuvenates dull skin by combating the signs of ageing and reducing the appearance of redness. Hydrating Serum exponentially enhances the efficacy of your favourite Forever moisturisers with its hydrating and moisturising botanicals and oils. It boasts of four different forms of hyaluronic acid to provide a protective dense film on the skin surface and rapid absorption into layers of the skin. Helping to replace and reduce essential water loss in the skin, this new formula as helps shield against environmental stressors. Layered under your moisturiser, the Hydrating Serum also uses coconut fatty acids and shea butter that gives a light, easily absorbed feel to help your skin feel plump and hydrated while combating environmental stressors and signs of premature ageing. And here’s a few more video call tips for the skin. The camera can highlight things like oil on your face, so I recommend blotting it prior to the call, especially in the afternoon when your oil production is at its peak. Use Balancing Toner to wipe off excess oil topped little swipe of Aloe Lips for a lovely smile.
2) Remember lighting makes all the difference
Bad lighting can cast unflattering shadows or make you look poorly. This is easily solved by a few tricks such as: during the daytime place your device in front of a window (not behind you) to let the natural sunlight brighten your whole person and background. If you can’t do that, get a small flexible lamp with various settings that you can place in front of your device. This is great, especially at night. And if you have a little extra in your budget, buy a beauty lamp that vloggers use as it mimics natural light.
3) Remove the Clutter behind you
Although our homes are often the environment for video calls these days, some places are better to take a call than others. Dark, cluttered or even a light on behind you can be distracting. A white or simple background is best, while wearing solid colours that bring out a healthy skin glow helps YOU to be visible, and not everything else, when on a video meeting.
And of course, don’t forget to make sure you have adequate Wi-Fi in your area where you will be taking the call. I added an inexpensive Wi-Fi extender to my office so that I don’t have calls that drop or freeze.
4) Avoid low angles, prop up your device and check how you look prior to the call in the webcam on your phone, computer or tablet.
Seen too many people’s nasal cavities in a zoom call because they have their device at an awkward angle? Prop your laptop on a book or place your phone in a stand at a better angle so that your video has a great, natural shot of your head and shoulders. Cookbooks are great for putting under a laptop to give it just the right height, and always check how you look in the webcam prior to the call for bra straps that might be showing, a collar that needs straitening, or messy hair that needs a little fix. Whether it’s a video chat with your nan or a zoom business meeting with a customer, Forever offers such a wide variety of products that you can help your skin glow with radiance. Start off with the basics of either the Sonya Daily Skincare System or Infinite by Forever and then add Targeted complementary products to create a great routine.

We’ve seen a distinct change in the weather this week which implies that spring is on the way and we’re hoping that the longer days and warmer weather will begin to lift your spirits as we move out of a very long winter! That said, we know that the continued uncertainty of the coming months is having a toll of most of us, so we wanted to offer some practical advice for ensuring you’re taking care of your mental health.
Focus on what you can control
Part of why we’re feeling so uneasy at the moment is that there’s far too much in the air that we have no way of controlling. Whether it’s when we’ll get to see friends and family again, when that wedding will be able to happen or when we’ll get to travel the world again, focusing on what we can’t control will only leave us anxious.
Make a conscious effort to put your mind towards what you can control: set a daily routine that feels good; set a to-do list that feels plausible so that it’s easy to check it off and feel accomplished; commit to exercising once per day; do a thorough spring clean (one room at a time if the whole house feels like too much of a task); check in with friends and family for chat.
Practise gratitude
Whether you voice your gratitude out loud or jot it down in a journal at the end of every day, the simple act of giving thanks even for the smallest things will shift your mindset. Don’t let the bad parts of your day make you feel bitter, instead celebrate the good every time it happens. Eventually you’ll start to notice the good much more and realise that life’s still great.
Breathe
We had a great session with Forever ambassador Kristina Rihanoff the other week to discuss the benefits of breathing and meditation. Even if you’re unable to commit half an hour to a full meditation or yoga session there are few who can’t commit to five minutes of breathing mindfully each day, and even this simple thing can do wonders for your mental health.
Simply take yourself to a quiet part of your house (even if it’s just your bathroom!), set a timer for five minutes and get comfortable. Breathe in through your nose for a count of four seconds, hold for another four, breathe out for another four and hold for four more. Repeat until the timer runs out. Try to focus on the rhythm of your breathing and the beating of your heart. Take a few moments to wriggle your fingers and toes. If your mind wanders, gently bring it back to the here and now. All of this can really bring a sense of calm to your mind that’ll help you tackle the rest of your day head on.
Nourish your body
Taking good care of your body can really help to lift your mood. While it may be all too easy to default to comfort food when things feel a little doom and gloom, you’ll actually feel all the better for eating healthy foods, drinking plenty of water and getting a good amount of exercise each day. Not sure where to start?

As we now deal with lockdown three, we are having to develop resilience, flexibility and patience like never before. So how, amidst all the uncertainty, can we set ourselves up for success in what is likely to be another very unpredictable year?
It goes without saying that our health has to be our number one priority, and that has been reflected in the sale of Forever’s products which grew by 25% in the UK and Ireland in the six months between March and September. And as concerns about jobs post furlough rise, increasing numbers are simply not prepared to see what happens and are instead seeking to take control of their own destinies with sign-ups increasing by 60% over that same period the previous year.
Digital transformation has enabled people to reach more people, access more training, serve more customers and build teams without geographical constraints. We are working more efficiently and smarter than ever as circumstances have forced us all to adapt. One report suggested that we saw the equivalent of four years of digital transformation in the space of three months at the start of lockdown.
There has perhaps never been a better time to start a Forever business as we quite simply will not return to the old ways of working.
Director General of the DSA UK, Susannah Schofield says “It is clear that consumers are looking to alternative channels of retail following the closure of more traditional outlets.” The sector contributes £2.67billion to the UK economy each year, and over half a million people are involved in the industry. Susannah predicts that sales will remain higher than pre-Covid levels as more people turn to direct selling to supplement their incomes.
With the transition to exclusively online events, and access to training opportunities to developing skills and knowledge, it has never been easier to get started; allowing flexibility and opportunity wherever you live. And existing Forever Business Owners are finding that by delivering product launches virtually, their productivity has increased significantly as they work more efficiently. For some it has been the digital push that was needed, and many report confidence in their new found digital skills.
Natalie Berg, a retail analyst said, “The direct selling channel is one of the few bright spots in retail right now. But how does a model based on human interaction adapt to today’s challenge of social distancing?” Natalie hosted a DSA roundtable discussion recently with Susannah Schofield and some DSA member companies where the key takeaways from the conversation were around agility and community. Agility: direct selling is an inherently nimble, low-risk channel. When the pandemic hit, at-home demonstrations and shopping parties quickly went virtual. The sector believes this blended experience will stick post-COVID as online and offline worlds continue to merge. Community: The discussion focused on the importance of selling an experience, not a product. Building a community and fostering a sense of belonging will be vital for brands as we move into 2021. COVID has reinforced the importance of strengthening this in a digital setting - an active online community that swaps ideas, and advice will garner greater loyalty in the physical world.

2021. The start of a brand-new year, and let’s face it, after last year who doesn’t want to make a strong and positive start to the New Year? January is the time for a fresh start, a clean slate and a recommitment to our goals, so with that in mind, some of us here at Head Office have decided to give ourselves a kickstart to getting fit and healthy in 2021 with our Head Office C9 Challenge.
From 11th January, join me – Amelia – along with Rachel, Lorraine and Vanessa, as we navigate through the programme, and watch our vlogs as we share our (honest) experiences with you.
But what is the C9 and why does it work?
This nine-day programme includes advanced nutrition and exercise routines to help you succeed and reach your personal best on your terms. For many people, working from home has become the new norm during these different times. Although it may be the dream for some, others prefer the hustle and bustle of a workplace environment. Adapting to working from home can be tricky; with commitments such as family responsibilities having demands on our time, it can be easy to feel overwhelmed. But there are also countless benefits that working from home can bring, and for some, home-based working can contribute to the perfect lifestyle. We wanted to share a few tips from the latest edition of Aloe Life on how you can master working from home, and ways to stay positive and productive. Sleep Sleep is essential for being able to function throughout the day. Sleep deprivation can have a range of effects that can be detrimental to your physical and mental health. It is recommended that you get between seven and nine hours of sleep a night, but of course this is differs for each person to be able to achieve their best. Set the tone Setting the tone for the day is key to feeling upbeat and productive, and a positive mindset can help you both physically and mentally. A positive mindset can be defined as a mental and emotional attitude that consistently anticipates positive results. A person with a positive mindset presumes happiness will result and that any difficulty that should arise can be overcome. Start your day with some positive affirmations or meditation to help you feel calm and in control to really take charge of your day. Set a routine Getting organised and developing a schedule will help you to feel in control and be more clear-headed. Try to develop a routine with scheduled work time, breaks and family time to ensure that you are gaining the maximum benefit of the more flexible approach of home-based working. Prioritise your time Focusing your time on key activities is a good way to ensure you stay productive, and make the most of your work time. Turning off email and phone notifications and focusing on your most important task first will help you make the most of your productivity by reducing distractions and focusing your mind. Then work in bursts of time and make sure that you take proper breaks to help you refresh your mind and refocus. Exercise Sometimes it can be hard to find the time to make your fitness plans work around your busy schedule, but exercising not only makes us feel better, it can also be a good way to reduce stress too. Blocking out some time in your daily routine will improve your physical appearance, as well as your mental state too, keeping you more focused for work. To truly optimise your workout efforts, the Forever F.I.T programmes will help you feel cleansed, as well as adding vital nutrients to your diet to ensure your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed. Stay Social You may think that working from home sounds anti-social, but having this flexibility actually allows you to become more social, with both friends and work colleagues. You will be able to work on your own time, catch up with co-workers in the day and never miss out on a special occasion again. Today’s digital world allows us to be more connected than ever, and making new connections doesn’t have to be in person - you can grow your business, create leads, and convert them into customers and team members right from the comfort of your own home. Relax and unwind Making sure that you put down your devices at least an hour before you go to bed will allow you to properly unwind from your day, and help you sleep better. Making sure you carve out some well-deserved ‘me time’ will also help you clear your mind and renew your focus.
What are your tips for staying happy, heathy and productive whilst working from home? Let us know in the comments below. We also have some fantastic tips to achieving a positive mindset in the latest edition of Aloe Life, so be sure to get your copy now.

Forever Living’s skincare and anti-ageing ingredients –with Jeannie McGinnis
March-17-2020
Forever's Beauty and Skincare Trainer, Jeannie McGinnis, has been with Forever Living UK since May 2017 and is our dedicated Skincare Advocate. She has been involved with the health and beauty industry in some capacity since the late 1980s and promotes holistic, healthy living in her lifestyle.
Below, Jeannie gives us an insight into Forever’s ingredients, specifically those with anti-ageing properties to help you look and feel better.
What does anti-ageing mean?
We all age, but the rate at which we age can be determined by your genes, ethnicity, skin type and pore size – these are known as intristic factors, and we have very little control over them. Our goal is to age well; preventing premature signs of ageing which can start as early as your 20s. We aren’t ‘anti’ the ageing process, but more ‘pro’ ageing well, and putting the breaks on premature ageing both in our skin and bodies.
Signs of premature ageing:
The signs of premature ageing can include: wrinkles and fine-lines, dry flaky skin, dull and sallow skin tone, uneven tone and texture and volume loss, as well as a leathery appearance on the upper-chest and hands.
Can we prevent premature ageing?
Yes! Natural ageing is chronological and intrinsic, but premature ageing comes from lifestyle choices and extrinsic factors. These factors may include: UVA/UVB damage, diet choices, lack of exercise, excessive alcohol, sugar and processed food, poor digestive health, pollution, smoking, and chronic stress. All of these factors create excess oxidative stress in our bodies and skin, which can lead to premature damage.
What happens as we age naturally?
Over time, whether it is normal ageing or more rapid ageing through lifestyle choices, the effects on the skin are the same. In the middle layer of skin, the dermis, certain proteins and sugar molecules lessen in their production, which leads to signs of ageing. Environmental damage on the epidermis, top layer of the skin, leads to fine-lines, wrinkles and uneven tone and texture. Whilst ageing decreases the production of many aspects in the epidermis and dermis of our skin, great skincare can help to replenish what is lost, and simulate our body’s production.
The skin’s structure and elasticity:
So what is a fibroblast and why does it matter to me? A fibroblast is a cell which is responsible for organising the connective tissue, or skin matrix. They synthesise collagen and elastin proteins essential for the support and elasticity of the skin.
Collagen is a protein found in the skin that starts to deplete at around the age of 35/40. It smooths your skin, gives hair its thickness, and is found in your nails. As an ingredient in skincare products, collagen can be digested or applied topically, to help stimulate and normalise fibroblast activity and produce collagen.
Peptides are shorter chains of amino acids which make proteins. As collagen breaks down, it forms peptides, which then send messages to the skin to tell it to produce more collagen. This is a natural step in the collagen production process. Peptides are added to skincare products to help to amplify this message, and encourage the production of collagen. Forever uses a patented three-amino acid peptide that complements the natural process of the skin to increase firmness and reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
What ingredients in Forever’s skincare products help to prevent the signs of ageing?
Adding collagen, peptides, and vitamin C to skincare products helps to stimulate the body’s production and natural balance of collagen. Adding vitamin C both topically and orally (through your daily shot of aloe) has many benefits for the skin. Antioxidants are found in vitamins and minerals, and help to maintain a careful balance to prevent damage, and stabilise excess free radicals caused by oxidative stress. Many of the botanicals used in Forever’s skincare products contain vitamins A, C or E (or all of them) which are high in antioxidents.
SPF, Skin Protection Factor, is the length of time for sun exposure before you feel the harmful UV effects. UVA protects against ageing, and UVB protects against burning. Forever uses zinc oxide, a mineral base, in both our Protecting Day Lotion and Aloe Sunscreen, making it more naturan and environmentally friendly than many chemical sunscreens on the market.
A humectant is a substance that attracts water to the skin, and promotes the retention of moisture. Aloe vera, found in all of Forever’s skincare products is a humectant, and the Aloe Bio-Cellulose Mask is ideal for hydration to help renew your tired, thirsty skin.
Occlusives act as a physical barrier on top of the skin to reduce the effects of waterloss, and protect from external irritants. They are often combined with humectants, and include oils such as jojoba and apricot, found in Forever’s R3 Factor, and borage oil, found in Alpha-E Factor. Both products are fantastic for protection against environmental stressors and transepidermal water loss.

Millennials refers to people born between around 1980 and the mid-1990’s who are people now in their young adulthood, roughly aged between 25 and 34. According to Statista, 12 million millennials lived in the United Kingdom in 2018 and they will shortly become the largest age demographic group in the UK overall with 35% of the global workforce being dominated by millennials.
In terms of their careers, one in five young people have two or more jobs and on average, millennials stay within a given role for a maximum of three years, meaning they are always on the lookout for new opportunities. Having been shaped by the technology revolution that saw computers, tablets and the web become central to work and life, they prioritise culture, career growth and are challenging the job world more than ever before. But aside from this, millennials put a priority on jobs that offer flexibility – so what could these be?
Website developer
Web developer sits highly as the best jobs for millennials; offering a high salary if you’re tech savvy and have expert coding skills. Aside from that, developers also need to have an eye for design and detail as they are responsible for the look and functionality of websites and apps. Best of all, most companies offer flexible working hours for developers since the work is usually results and output based. This makes room for the good work-life balance which millennials long for.
Become an Influencer
Blogging increased rapidly in the earlier 2010’s, and even though the market is a bit saturated now there is still a chance for young millennials to shine, especially with the rise of the image sharing platform - Instagram. Now, young millennials are sharing beautiful pictures of their travels, fashion and their lives on Instagram for the whole world to see. The more followers they gain the more they can charge. If this is a career that interests you, start by learning photography, videography, and sharpen your writing skills. Creativity and being unique is key, so continue to practice, think outside the box, and make contacts with PR agencies and brands.
Videographers
As the world becomes more and more visual, we are seeing a movement towards even more easily digestible content such as video. So, if you are skilled in creating and editing sharp, entertaining videos, which could potentially add value to any brand, pitch your skills with a show reel or take on smaller jobs to build up your portfolio.
Graphic designer
Thanks to the rise of the Internet, graphic design is one of the most in-demand careers for millennials today. Businesses want to take more of a creative approach, while brands want to find someone who can help a marketing campaign go viral. At first, you will likely work in entry level, but with some hard work and an original portfolio, you can move your way up the ladder and start getting larger assignments, whether your working agency side or freelance from home.
Social media manager
Social Media has exploded over the last 5 years, and If you’re a millennial, it’s likely you have a natural expertise with social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. There are plenty of job openings in companies who are tuning in to the importance of having a strong social presence. There is much flexibility in this role as you can go down the route of working in-house for an established company or working for an agency. Plus, once you are a professional you could work on a freelance or contract basis, where you will be able to set your own rates and hours, as well as working remotely.
Network marketing professional
Millennials want to have the option to control their own working hours and location, which is what network marketing can potentially give them. Starting a network marketing business with Forever gives you the potential to earn a significant income stream, have extra time and the freedom to build your life according to your dreams, and allows you the flexibility to start part-time and build a full-time income.

It’s become a bit of a buzz word in recent times, but sustainability is so important in today’s day and age. The actual word means an ability to be maintained at a certain level, but it’s generally used in environmental terms. Whether you believe the threats of climate change or not, it’s important to consider your impact on the environment.
Nobody wants to live on a planet with more landfill plastic than animals. Nor would we want the ocean to swallow up any more of our low-lying islands – house prices are getting high enough as it is! So, here’s a few ways you can lessen your impact on the environment, choosing eco-friendly packaging and sustainable products, to prevent those worst-case scenarios. Re-use and recycle
We all know it’s better to recycle wherever possible and to avoid single use plastics in favour of items you can use over and over again. But, how often are you actively choosing recyclable cartons and packaging over their, sometimes much cheaper, friends?
Did you know that the vast majority of Forever’s product packaging is recyclable? In 2018, we also launched tetra pak packaging for our Forever Aloe Vera Gel, Forever Aloe Berry Nectar and Forever Aloe Peaches products. This packaging is made from six layers of 100% recyclable materials, so you know you’re making a sustainable decision. You can even find out where to recycle the packaging on their website. Use your car less
It’s often a convenient choice to just jump in the car and pop to the shops but consider whether you actually needed to drive that journey. Perhaps there’s a shop you could walk to in order to get what you need, or maybe you could tie it in with another journey that takes you past the supermarket. Many of us join the gym to keep fit and healthy, but have you considered that you might save on cash and your carbon footprint if you ditched the car more and just walked? It may not always make sense to walk your journey, but it’s always worth some consideration before you head out. Conserve water
Whether its’s something small, like turning off the tap while you’re brushing your teeth, or something bigger, like switching to a reduced-water shower head, there are so many ways that you can conserve water.
You can also look for products from companies that are actively trying to save water in their manufacturing process. For instance, the water used for washing aloe leaves on Forever’s plantations is re-used three times before it is pumped to a holding pond or reservoir where it can be used to irrigate the aloe fields. With this and many other new processes we’ve put in place, we’ve managed to reduce water usage by 90% at our plantations. Save the trees (and aloe plants)
If you’ve done any research into sustainable living and sustainable products recently, you will have come across articles about sustainable forestry. Vast forests and jungles are being destroyed to keep up with the demand for wood and paper-based products, but a sustainable forest is carefully planned to plant trees as they are felled.
Most people know that trees are important to the environment, because they turn C02 into oxygen, but were you aware that twenty aloe plants can covert the same amount of C02 into oxygen as a tree? With 50 million aloe plants, Forever’s aloe crops are able to cleanse the earth of hundreds of millions of tons of CO2 every single year. Protect the bees
Without bees, an estimated three-quarters of plants that produce 90% of food crops would go unpollinated. That’s an awful lot of food that wouldn’t exist without bees and where would we be without it? That’s why it’s important when you’re buying bee products to make sure the produce is collected in a sustainable way.
Bees produce many substances, but one of the most important to the hive is royal jelly. This is fed to the queen bee, helping her to produce thousands of eggs daily, but it’s also given to larvae in their first few days. Royal jelly is collected in cups by worker bees. In order to make Forever Royal Jelly, Forever creates imitation ‘queen cups’ in a small colony of young bees; these bees will then instinctively fill the cups with royal jelly. The process requires close attention and precise timekeeping, but it allows us to harvest this amazing substance without harming any bees. Put on a jumper
Getting a bit chilly now the temperature is turning? Invest in a couple of warm, woolly jumpers and some thick socks and try to keep your hand away from that thermostat dial. The less you can use your central heating, the better for the environment. Give your money to companies that give back
As a consumer, one of the best ways to be sustainable is to look for companies that give back. Whether that’s using sustainable products, eco-friendly packaging or promoting the idea of sustainable living. Many companies do this through their manufacturing processes, but more still are starting to give back in other ways. For instance, some toilet roll companies plant a tree when a certain number of packs have been bought to replace the trees they’ve used in their manufacturing process. How Nutrition From ARGI+ and Aloe Vera Helped Me Conquer Ironman
July-05-2019
If you followed my previous blogs about my Ironman journey, you will know that 2017–18 was, for me, 12 months of establishing a base of endurance fitness and learning how to swim. I have found learning to swim incredibly difficult – it’s not easy learning it as a practical skill when you have a fear of water – and although I still have a long way to go, I’m improving week by week. I completed my first full Iron distance challenge in 11 hours 48 mins back in June 2018. The distances involved are somewhat eye watering: a 2.4-mile open water swim followed by 112 miles on the bike, topped off by a 26.2-mile marathon run!
This year I decided to take it a little easier by taking on the Half Ironman challenge in Staffordshire, but despite being a stronger, fitter athlete compared to last year, I actually found it tougher. Since it’s a shorter course, you find yourself going that bit faster and I managed to conquer it in 5 hours 39 minutes!
The key to my success in both events was of course consistency in training, but what, in my opinion, allowed me to maintain this consistency was a combination of good sleep (8 hours minimum) and excellent nutrition. Nutrition is so important, not only on the day of the race, but also during the weeks and months before.
A triathlete is a well-rounded athlete that has to be competent as a swimmer, cyclist and a runner. As these are all endurance-based activities, your metabolism goes into overdrive and you need to eat way more than average amounts to maintain a healthy body weight. The training plan, based on my goals, meant three swims each week, as well as three bike rides, three runs, two strength and conditioning workouts and a Pilates session (you can’t neglect the core)!
Twelve sessions per week meant training twice a day on most days, so when it comes to nutrition, there are a number of key factors, over and above calorie intake, that are really important to me:
Nutrition should help maintain a healthy immune system. Coughs and colds mean lost training sessions and can be a sign of over training. There was no wriggle room to catch up with missed sessions in my programme – there are only seven days in a week!
Nutritional choices should support healthy digestion. You are what you eat, or to be more precise, you are what you absorb, so a healthy functioning digestive system is key to both performance and recovery.
Nutritional choices have to provide energy. If your programme is not properly structured and if you are not perceptive to the signs of fatigue, tiredness can make your training a chore and could even be detrimental to health.
I use a lot of Forever’s products, but if I had to pull out just two products that I couldn’t do without, I’d definitely choose Forever Aloe Vera Gel and Argi+.
Our aloe vera is pure, powerful and great for digestion. It also helps support the immune system as does the vitamin C content in Argi+. Vitamin C also contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and increases iron absorption – we all know how important iron is to oxygen transport and how it can come in handy when doing any kind of endurance activity! The ingredients in these products are important to athletes in so many ways, far beyond the scope of this blog, but it’s probably super relevant to finally flag up the B6 content in Argi+. Not only does B6 contribute to normal energy yielding metabolism, but also normal protein and glycogen metabolism. I genuinely don’t think I could do what I do without these two products! Why don’t you see how Argi+ and aloe can impact your workout? Try our limited edition Argi+ and Aloe Mini Tripack today and let us know how you got on in the comments.

If you’re looking at a way to boost your nutrient intake but struggle to eat enough fruit and veg each day, Forever Supergreens could be the solution you’ve been waiting for. Read on to find out how a glass of Forever Supergreens can benefit your body. Boosts Energy
Do you often feel like you have a million-and-one things to do and that you’re always rushing around trying to play catch up? If so, an unwelcome bout of fatigue is the last thing you need! Tiredness and fatigue can be caused by a variety of factors, including lack of sleep or more serious health complaints. If you are concerned, you should ensure you visit a medical professional; however, it may be that the lethargic feeling you have become accustomed to is due to a vitamin deficiency. Both vitamin C and magnesium contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Fatigue can affect you both physically and mentally and it should not be confused with drowsiness. Fatigue is due to lost energy and signs include lack of motivation, easily tiring once an activity has begun or difficulty concentrating. Strawberries, blueberries, cranberries, broccoli and red peppers are all sources of vitamin C, while spinach, cabbage and kale will provide magnesium to your diet. Brings Balance
Another benefit of magnesium is that it contributes to electrolyte balance, and while we all know that we want to bring balance to our bodies, often we’re unsure what that really means.
Our bodies are full of minerals; they can be found in your blood, urine, tissues and other fluids and if these minerals have an electric charge, they are known as electrolytes. Electrolytes are responsible for helping to balance the water levels in your body, ensuring your body’s pH levels are balanced, and moving nutrients to, and waste from, cells. Electrolytes also ensure your nerves, muscles, heart and brain function as they should. Maintains Muscles, Bones and Teeth
Talking about muscles, magnesium also contributes to normal muscle function, as well as to the maintenance of normal bones and teeth. When we talk about muscles, it’s easy to think of the body-builder physique, but don’t forget that your muscles are actually responsible for enabling movement throughout your entire body. Humans have around 700 muscles attached to their skeleton and many major organs also contain muscle tissue. Muscle tissue is the only bodily tissue that is able to contract and move other parts of the body. As well as allowing movement, muscles also help us to maintain posture, move substances around the body and generate body heat.
Teeth and bones are made from various mineral substances and are quite similar in terms of composition, but you may be interested to learn that your teeth are actually stronger than your bones. Despite this, if you were to break a tooth, it would not regenerate and repair in the same way a bone does, and as you age, your bones and teeth will naturally begin to weaken. That’s why it’s important to ensure your diet is rich in nutrients that help to maintain normal bones and teeth. Keeps Your Psyche in Check
Both vitamin C and magnesium contribute to normal psychological function, but what exactly does this mean? Psychological function actually refers to how people utilise their senses to inform a decision or perceive the world around them. Intuition, emotions and the ability to think rationally play a role in psychological function, and consciousness is also closely linked. If you are daydreaming, tipsy, half asleep or poorly, your level of consciousness may have been compromised and this will affect your ability to function at full psychological capacity. If your psychological function has been compromised for some reason, decision-making and interpreting situations can become more challenging, leading to poor choices, injury or regrets. Upholds Your Immune System
A compromised immune system can open you up to all sorts of illnesses, colds, flu, viruses and diseases that quite frankly you can do without. We have all been built with an immune system so that we can fight off pathogens such as infectious bacteria and parasites. Our bodies are full of cells that work hard to remove invaders and foreign tissue, and exposure to more pathogens helps us to build immunity. When invaders, known as antigens, enter the body, cells create antibodies to latch on to the antigen to inform other cells that it needs to be removed. A copy of the antibody remains in the body so that if the same antigen appears later down the line, the antibodies can latch on quicker than before.
If you’re keen to ensure your immune system keeps on functioning as it should, you’ll want to ensure your diet is rich in vitamin C. Vitamin C helps to maintain the normal function of the immune system. Assists Collagen Formation
When you think of collagen, you may immediately think of your skin and how collagen can help slow the signs of ageing, but collagen is an amino acid protein that’s present throughout the body, including in your bones, gums, connective tissues and blood vessels.
The role of collagen is to hold the body together. It works a bit like scaffolding, providing strength and structure to cells. There are actually over sixteen different types of collagen and one type acts as a protective covering for delicate organs. As you age, natural collagen production decreases and that’s why it’s important to ensure your diet is rich in vitamins like vitamin C; vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of blood vessels, bones, cartilage, gums, skin and teeth. Normalises Your Nerves
Magnesium and vitamin C contribute to normal functioning of the nervous system. Your nervous system is responsible for transmitting signals and messages across the body in order for an action to occur. It is a bit like having built-in electrical wiring and without this complex method of communication, humans would struggle to interpret internal messages and their bodies would shut down. We all have three nervous systems: central, peripheral and autonomic.
The central nervous system connects the brain, spinal cord and retina, the peripheral nervous system is made up of sensory neurons that connect the central system to your limbs, and the autonomic nerves connect the central system to your major organs. If your nervous system breaks down, you will experience functional difficulties; these could be physical or mental, internal or external. Protects Your Cells
You may have heard that antioxidants are good for you, and the reason people go mad for foods labelled as antioxidants is because they contain vitamins that help to protect the cells in your body from oxidative stress. Vitamins C and E are both antioxidant vitamins, and vitamin E is commonly found in vegetable oils, nuts, seeds and leafy green veg.
Oxidative stress occurs when there is an imbalance of certain molecules in the body. Molecules with one or more unpaired electrons occur naturally in the body, but poor diet and environmental irritants such as pollution and pesticides can also create these molecules. Antioxidants are also naturally produced by cells and they are responsible for neutralising these molecules. Oxidative stress occurs when there are not enough antioxidants to neutralise these molecules.
Oxidative stress is not always harmful, a small amount can actually be beneficial, but long-term exposure can damage cells and cause premature ageing or life-changing conditions.
While we’re on the subject of cells, you may be interested to learn that magnesium can also be of benefit, playing a role in the process of cell division. Cell division is a process that constantly takes place inside of your body; in fact, nearly two trillion cells divide every day! Cells divide and produce replica cells to replace dead or damaged cells (such as broken skin) and to encourage growth. This process is regulated by the cells themselves, which communicate via chemical signals so that they know when to start and stop dividing; this is essential for healing and for growth.
Maintains Your Metabolism
The term metabolism refers to a chemical process that occurs inside your body to keep it functioning. It affects cells, organs, your breathing and of course, digestion. In order to take place, this process requires energy and every individual requires a minimum amount of energy in order for the processes to go ahead. This energy is gained from food; carbohydrates, fats and proteins are all energy-yielding nutrients because they provide energy to the body.
As well as using energy in order to metabolise food, your metabolism also releases energy taken from the food so that you can pursue activities, and any excess energy will be stored for times of need. If you want to make sure your energy-yielding metabolism functions as it should, look for food that’s high in vitamin C and magnesium; both these nutrients contribute to a normal energy-yielding metabolism. You should be able to get enough vitamin C, E and magnesium from eating a healthy diet, but if you do struggle to get your daily nutrient intake – which is easy in today’s age of convenience cuisine – supplements like Forever Supergreens can deliver what you are lacking. A sachet of Forever Supergreens should be mixed with 240ml of water or any other beverage. Have you tried it yet? Let us know in the comments below.

According to mentalhealth.org 74% of UK adults have felt stressed at some point over the last year, meaning as individuals we need to understand what is causing us personal stress and learn what activities we can take to reduce it for ourselves and those around us.
One of the answers to some of our stress related problems could be to dance. Dancing boosts your heart rate, works your leg muscles and forces you to work on coordination and balance. But the benefits of dancing go way beyond the physical, it can also do quite the number on your mental wellbeing. Happy hormones
Scientifically when the body feels good, the mind does too. Dancing helps reduce levels of cortisol – a stress hormone – and causes the body to produce endorphins, neurotransmitters that create a feeling of comfort, relaxation, fun and power; in other words, dancing makes us happy! Distract yourself from everyday life
Dancing relieves stress by helping you distance yourself from stressful events in your life, allowing your brain to recharge and face the next day with renewed energy. When you dance you are so focused on your movement, the music, and your partner, that you can’t think about anything else. Express yourself
Stress often builds up in the body because we don’t get enough opportunities to express our feelings. Dancing is a great way of dealing with these feelings and releasing them through movement. The fact that you tend to dance to music that you enjoy also contributes to this. Socialise with other people
Considering that over nine million people in the UK say that they are always or often lonely, which can cause higher levels of stress, attending a dance class could be the way forward. Dancing with a partner can quickly builds trust, co-operation and give you positive feelings. There are plenty of websites to find a class near you: Age UK and Dance Near You. Contribute to your mental and physical health
Nothing makes you feel less stressed than when you know you’re doing great things for your physical and mental health. Keeping your brain active is super important particularly as you get older. A great way to do this is by learning a new dance routine and remembering the steps.
From increased flexibility, stronger bones and building muscle tone, dancing is a total body workout as it requires you to use lots of different parts of your body. You don’t even need to be a particularly good dancer, as long as you’re moving to the music, you’re getting a wide range of physical benefits. Simply have fun!
Popular TV shows like Strictly Come Dancing prove that dancing is fun to watch and even more fun to participate in. Often people are put off by other exercises like running or cycling as they can be quite repetitive, but with dancing you can do anything you like, and this makes it a much more enjoyable alternative. We all know it’s good to keep fit. When a new year starts and your friends and family start to focus on their fitness goals too, it can be easy to feel motivated and to start yourself on a fitness plan. But, how do you keep up that momentum once everyone else begins to drop off? How can you turn those exercise sessions into fitness habits and move from short-term to long-term wellness? Here are a few key tips on how to establish long-term fitness habits. Have a realistic fitness goal in mind
Before you embarked upon this new fitness journey, you probably had a vague idea of why you were doing it. Maybe you wanted to feel less tired walking up hills, or perhaps you just wanted to feel a bit better in your own skin. While these are great reasons to start, it can be hard to motivate yourself to continue with such a vague goal.
If you’re looking to stick to your fitness plan for the long-term, a solid, specific goal is really helpful. Whether your fitness goal is big or small, you need to spell it out in simple terms. For instance, “I want to lose half a stone in 3 months so that I can fit into my swimsuit for my summer holiday”. This gives you a clear target to aim for, whilst also telling you where to focus your energy in the gym. Remove any potential barriers
This may seem obvious, but it can be easily forgotten along the way. Procrastination is often born from uncertainty, and this uncertainty is probably caused by those things you’ve neglected to think about and remove. Make it as easy as possible for you to complete your workout.
This could mean planning your workout before you get to the gym, so there’s no in-between time while you decide on your routine. It could be laying out your clothes and a water bottle the night before your morning run and placing your shoes by the door. Perhaps you’re skipping the gym after work a lot because it’s out of your way on the drive home – maybe you should choose a new gym that’s en route. It’s all about being proactive and making sure you are ready to go when you need to be. Do the work out you enjoy
If you hate your work out, you simply won’t do it. Just because your friend loves indoor cycling, it doesn’t mean that you will. That latest fitness trend may look fun in the videos, but actually, you’d rather just do a normal session at the gym. You need to find something you like, so keep giving things a try until you find the one that works for you.
That’s not to say that you should stick to the exact same routine every time you work out. It’s best to be able to keep pushing yourself, so find ways to keep improving whatever you choose. Choose your work out buddy carefully
No doubt you’ve been told before that having a work out buddy will help you stick to your fitness regime. That you’ll be less likely to skip exercise if you feel like you’re letting them down, and that they will help to keep you motivated.
Whilst this sentiment is true to some degree, it’s important to choose your work out buddy very carefully. If you choose someone who is likely to let you down a lot then they can actually be detrimental to your fitness goals, as you might find yourself picking up their bad habits and skipping workouts. Make sure you choose someone who is just as attached to their goals as you are. Be aware of your own progress
Whether it’s feeling happier in your own skin, finally getting a good night’s sleep, or just being able to walk up a steep hill without feeling out of breath, make sure you keep an eye out for your own personal progress indicators. Noticing those little differences can really motivate you to push on and achieve more.
The easiest way to establish long-term fitness habits is simply to keep going. Make your workouts easier to accomplish, make them enjoyable and keep an eye on your progress and you’ll find it a lot easier to keep going.

Nothing in life stays the same and the world of work is no exception. Latest studies show that the millennial generation is looking for a different way of working. What is a Millenial? While the exact years may vary slightly depending on who you ask, it’s safe to say that the term ‘millennial’ refers to those born roughly between 1981 and 2000. We also know that Millennials are the largest generation currently active in the workforce – so, whatever you may think they have the power to stand up for what they think they deserve in the workplace. So what is important to them? Well surveys show that learning and development, flexibility, and stability are some of the key desires they have for themselves in their working lives.
Not surprisingly then that many are open to an alternative to the traditional corporate career or the 9 to 5 job. They are sometimes criticised for not being patient enough, or wanting more responsibility than they can handle. Millennials have all that it takes to become one of the most entrepreneurial generations that ever lived and yet they are struggling to move forward with their ideas due their student debt. Millennials have a strong desire to venture on the entrepreneurial path but reports suggest that 42 percent of them say that their biggest obstacle is lack of money.
So given their huge potential and power could network marketing be the answer? We think yes, so here are 6 reasons why network marketing might be for you - whether you’re a millennial or not
There is a strong sense of ownership – you are in business for yourself but not by yourself. We all benefit from feeling in control of our destiny.
Low-risk entry level – no large start up sum is required. To start a Forever business for example costs less than £200.
It’s flexible and can be worked around your existing work or family commitments
You’ll be appreciated. There is a strong culture of reward and recognition. Incentives such as car plans, bonuses and paid for holidays around the globe.
Great training and support from an established global brand with a proven model.
It’s a level playing field; successful network marketers are diverse; from all walks of life, all ages all backgrounds.

No doubt you’ve heard countless times from your parents and medical professionals that your immune system is important. Even if it’s never been mentioned outright, it’s been inferred. We all generally have an idea of what the immune system does – it fights infections and illnesses for us – but we may not have an in-depth understanding of exactly how it works and what it’s doing for us day-to-day. How does the immune system actually work?
Your immune system recognises every cell that makes up your body. If it finds anything it doesn’t recognise, it attacks it. Sometimes it can get this wrong and attack harmless pollen particles (causing hay fever) or donated blood or organs. However, in general your immune system will be pretty good at this.
Your immune system can be divided up into two parts: innate response and acquired response. The innate response is the part that decides whether something is friend or foe. If it decides on foe, it tries to flush out the invader and this is generally what makes you feel feverish or snotty. The acquired response acts when the invaders have been recognised. It identifies which cells in your body can kill the invaders and then sends them in, much like a SWAT team. There are lots of claims online that things like getting more sleep, taking supplements and drinking more water can help to improve your immune system, but often, robust evidence for these quick-fixes can be hard to find. So, what does work? A healthy lifestyle is your first line of defence
The best method for maintaining a healthy immune system is to keep yourself healthy by eating a balanced diet and getting regular exercise. A varied diet will ensure you are getting all the vitamins and minerals your body needs in order to stay healthy. Certain vitamins and minerals contribute to the normal function of the immune system, including copper, folate, iron, selenium, vitamin A, vitamin B12, vitamin B6, vitamin C, vitamin D and zinc. Some will be more helpful here than others, but that’s why a balanced diet is the best option here, as you’ll get a bit of everything.
Getting regular exercise is important for your immune system because it increases the activity of helpful immune cells in your body. Improving your circulation and getting your heart beating more sends these cells out to patrol the body, looking for potential problems. The NHS notes that adults between 19 and 64 require both aerobic and strength exercises. They recommend at least 150 minutes of aerobic activity per week, in addition to separate strength exercises. Whilst both types of activity are important for general wellbeing, which is also important for your immune system, it’s the aerobic activity that will really get those immune cells moving about. Your microbiota is on your side
We have mentioned in another of our blogs that cultivating the good bacteria in your gut is essential to your overall health and wellbeing, but how does this relate to the immune system? Well, the microbiota in your gut can help to defend you from infection in more ways than one. For one thing, they take up space in your gut, so it’s difficult for disease-causing bugs to find anywhere to establish themselves. They also secrete toxic proteins that kill off potential infections, and, finally, they regulate the signals of our innate response (the one that flushes out invaders). Some scientists have suggested that the reason why you and your friend may react differently to the same infection is down to a difference in microbiota. One way to complement your microbiota is to take Forever Active Pro-B. It’s the perfect high-quality friendly bacteria supplement to assist with your diet and lifestyle goals. Vaccinations can help prevent problems
We mentioned earlier that the acquired response identifies cells within the body that can attack and kill invaders, well, often this process can take a few days or longer to complete. Vaccines work by introducing your acquired response to harmless versions of the infection, so that your body produces antibodies and learns how to fight it. This way, if you ever come into contact with the disease again, your immune system knows how to fight it and acts a lot quicker.
It’s clear that there’s no quick fix for boosting your immune system. The only real answer is to eat well, exercise regularly, look after your microbiome and make sure you have the correct vaccinations. Not so surprising when you think about it, is it? What’s the silliest quick fix you’ve heard for boosting your immune system? Let us know in the comments below.

Many of us consider our gut to be simply an automated food processing system that, at best, does little more than digest our food and at worst, is the source of discomfort and illness. But have you ever considered that your intestine is your largest organ? Its average length is greater than the width of a tennis court and its surface area is approximately 200 times the surface area of your skin. So why is our gut health so important? There is increasing emerging evidence that the size and complexity of our gut plays a vital role in more than just nutrient absorption; it’s also connected to our immune system, mental health and general wellbeing. Nutrient absorption – we are what we absorb, not just what we eat
Taking the food we eat and processing it so that we can absorb and utilise the nutrients is the most obvious role of our gut. Having been broken down by the acidic stomach, the majority of nutrient absorption takes place in our small intestine, but this absorption varies between 10-90% depending upon the health of our intestine. Three ways to increase nutrient absorption:
Drink a glass of water 30 minutes before each meal. This will prime the digestive system
Chew your food for longer. This will boost the digestion process and food will taste better
Avoid caffeine and alcohol whilst eating
The gut-brain axis – your gut instinct
Our gut contains a network of neurones equivalent in complexity and size to the brain of a cat, and we all know how intelligent cats are! This neural-network, known as the ‘Enteric Nervous System’, not only controls digestion but it also connects directly to our brainstem to provide two-way communication with the unconscious part of our inbuilt master computer. One of the key messengers in this network is serotonin. In the brain, this messenger is well known for producing feelings of positive wellbeing and happiness, yet approximately 90% of the body’s serotonin is made in the digestive tract.
This ‘second brain’ in our gut determines not just our digestive health, but it also affects our mood and even the way we think and therefore behave. Maybe our ‘gut instinct’ has a more rational basis than we previously realised! The immune system – battling the bugs
The immune system is our body’s natural defence force. Ready, armed and willing to attack any foreign invaders, the immune cells are housed in our lymphoid tissue. Examples include our lymph nodes and spleen, but 70% of lymphoid is in our intestine which makes it the body’s largest immune organ. Our micro-biome – the good, the bad and the ugly
We now understand that our gut factory is not fully automated, it actually houses a huge workforce! Bacteria are often considered the bad boys of biology causing infection, disease and illness, and whilst for some bacterial strains this is true, there are many other bacterial strains that are vitally important for us to survive. They co-habit in our bodies, living and working in our large intestine – the micro-biome.
There are over 40 trillion bacteria in our gut, making up 1-3% of our body weight and in fact, there is more bacterial genetic material in our gut than there are human genes in our body! These good bacteria support our immune, gut-brain axis and digestive system in many ways, including producing enzymes, vitamins and hormones we cannot make, and enhancing the absorption of certain minerals. Ensuring we cultivate our good gut bacteria, encouraging their growth and productivity is essential to our overall health and wellbeing. Three steps to boost your micro-biome:
Exercise regularly
Vary your diet with lots of nutrient dense vegetables and berries
Avoid refined sugar and processed food.
Making the right choices on a daily basis to promote good gut health will not only improve your digestive health but it will also support your immune system and mental health. Optimal intestinal health truly is the key to good general wellbeing. This post is written by Peter Campbell.

Direct selling is one of the oldest and more traditional forms of selling globally, so why is it that more and more people are starting their own direct selling business and putting more trust in the industry? Direct selling is built on trust
One of the unique qualities that makes direct selling so different from other industries is that trust plays an important role. Because you’re interacting primarily with other individuals on a daily basis either face to face, over the phone or on social media, you need to trust them and constantly be on your toes to ensure that you deliver top notch customer service, otherwise direct selling just doesn’t work. More personal selling experience
One of the key traits of being part of a direct selling company like Forever Living is personal interaction. People nowadays prefer to physically see, touch or try before they buy, and they can do exactly this with direct selling. People who are passionate about what they are selling will then go on to share their experience with others and this type of positive sharing is contagious. When you pass along your personal experiences genuinely with others, you connect emotionally. It’s a thriving industry
According to the DSA, there are over 400,000 direct sellers in the UK and as an industry, it generates £2 billion worth of sales annually. It is also becoming more diverse with 28% of men now working in the UK's direct selling industry. There are plenty of different types of direct selling companies offering more unique products than ever before and finding a brand that suits your needs and wants has never been easier. Trusted companies are members of the Direct Selling Association (DSA)
The Direct Selling Association (DSA) is a respected and reputable organisation with a mission statement that summarises its importance within the industry: "To protect, serve and promote the effectiveness of member companies and the independent business people they represent. To ensure that the marketing by member companies of products and/or the direct sales opportunity is conducted with the highest level of business ethics and service to consumers." By choosing a member company, you and your customers will be protected by the DSA. Forty years in the direct selling industry
Forever Living has now been a part of the direct selling industry and the DSA for forty years and this shows a commitment to quality and purity when it comes to the products and business opportunity. The majority of nutrition experts would say that the main thing to remember when it comes to healthy eating is that you can eat anything in moderation as long as overall you are adopting a balanced diet that’s full of variety, colour and sensibly-sized portions. The foods we consume are the sources of vitamins, minerals and energy – three necessities that keep our bodies functioning, and a varied diet that taps into carbohydrates, healthy fats and proteins is what any adult requires to keep their health on track.
If you’re keen to up your fitness level, it’s vital that you take a look at your diet and eliminate anything that could hinder your performance. Follow our guide for advice on how to ensure what you’re eating is nutritionally-rich for optimum fitness.
The right kind of carbs
Despite what glossy mags and celebrity diets may claim, carbohydrates are not an enemy that deserves to be locked in the cupboard never to see the light of day. In fact, carbs are essential as they provide you with your primary source of energy. But, it’s also important to realise that not all carbs are created equal! The carbs you want to embrace are whole and unprocessed; these carbs retain the natural fibre that refined carbs remove. Vegetables, fruit, potatoes and whole grains are the carbs you need to learn to crave, leaving the white bread, white pasta, white rice, sugar-laced juices and pastries on the supermarket shelves where they belong. Find vitamins through variety
Variety and colour is particularly important when it comes to learning to love vegetation, as this is the most effective way of consuming all the vitamins and minerals you require. Your diet should be full of colour and embracing the entire rainbow should become habitual in your daily routine. As a rough guide, yellow and orange fruit or veg tends to contain vitamins A and C, green veggies are high in vitamins B and E and purple produce is packed with vitamin K. Not all fats are felons Including fat in your diet may seem contrary to you when fat is exactly what you are trying to lose or avoid gaining, but healthy fats are actually essential for heart-health, healthy skin and safe cholesterol levels. Good fats can be found in nuts, seeds, avocados, olives and olive oil, salmon, some lean meats, eggs and dark chocolate – yes, chocolate (at least 70% cocoa)! Choose fats like this to help maintain good health and instead ditch food containing bad, saturated fats like cakes and biscuits, and processed foods like burgers, butter, cream and fatty meat. Become the PRO in protein
If finding time to exercise is driven by a desire to build muscle or burn fat, the macronutrient you want to become most familiar with is definitely protein. Any fitness fanatic knows how essential protein is to their daily routine since protein contributes to a growth in and maintenance of muscle mass. Protein also contributes to the maintenance of normal bones, which is why consuming a diet containing high-protein foods perfectly complements a schedule that favours strength exercises. Click here for a nutritional pre-workout shake recipe that’ll help you to perform at your peak when you hit the gym.
Protein before and after a workout is a great idea and beneficial when it comes to muscle repair, but it’s also sensible to start your day off with a high-protein breakfast. Seafood, white meat, lean beef, eggs, beans, soy and Greek yoghurt are all excellent sources of protein. Protein is also important before and after a workout. Supplement your diet
Vitamin supplements should never be seen as a replacement to a healthy-balanced diet but introducing supplements in some form can be an excellent way to boost your vitamin and mineral intake, particularly if you are taking on more exercise.

How Nordic walking can impact the way you exercise

Are you still trying to think of an exciting way to introduce exercise into your routine? Why don’t you consider Nordic walking? A sport that requires walking with poles may sound bizarre, but the impact this exercise can have on your overall health is quite something, and certainly worth considering. We caught up with sports and rehabilitation specialist Adrienne Potter to find out why Nordic walking should be embraced by people from all walks of life… I’ve always been active, participating in sports like running, netball, skiing, rock climbing and mountaineering, but it was 2017 when I finally – and accidently – fell across Nordic walking. I’m not quite sure why it took me so long, but even when I embarked on my new adventure as a Nordic Walking Instructor at the latter part of last year, I remained oblivious to its true potential as an activity and form of post injury / illness rehabilitation. It has only been since I completed my training that I’ve truly begun to understand just how much this sport really does have to offer.
It occurred to me that sometimes we live at such a pace, we forget how to actually LIVE life. With electronic devices constantly attached to us, it can become impossible to find time to recharge our batteries. This kind of lifestyle can cause our bodies and immune system to weaken, and then illness is inevitable. We also live in a society where many people live to a ripe old age, yet many fall foul to the perils of serious and life-long illnesses. Diseases such as cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, MS and Parkinson’s are unfortunately still very prevalent, but thankfully there are lifestyle changes that can be put in place earlier on in life in an attempt to minimise the risk associated with such illnesses. I’ve definitely realised that no matter how fit and healthy you think you are, you can always do more to look after yourself!
For those of you who have not heard of Nordic walking, it is walking with poles, but not in the traditional sense of trekking where the poles are much heavier and chunkier. The technique used within Nordic walking means that the whole body is engaged, making specific use of the core muscles. Working your core in this way helps to reduce tension in the upper back, neck and shoulders, improving posture and reducing lower back pain. The poles take the pressure and impact off joints, so it is fantastic for anyone who wants that cardiovascular workout without pounding the pavements or having to hit the treadmill.
As time goes by I am learning just how many different groups of people can benefit from this sport. Ladies having gone through treatment for breast cancer are at risk of suffering from lymphedema, brought on by the removal of lymph nodes, but the pendulum action and movement of the arm through Nordic walking can reduce the risk of this lifelong condition. Not only that but many women are forced in to early menopause which can contribute to joint pain, excess weight gain and body image issues. Nordic walking can help combat all of these symptoms, helping ladies regain their self-confidence. Having gone through the whole breast cancer malarkey myself back in 2013, I know what it feels like to get off the ‘hamster wheel of life’ for a while. I won’t deny that it took some time before I found my path again, but now that I have and can see the benefits of Nordic walking for women who have gone through what I did, I am determined to promote this sport as much as I can.
Nordic walking can also benefit individuals living with Parkinson’s. Often sufferers will have poor posture, balance and co-ordination, but the technique used when walking with poles demands co-ordination and encourages the reconnecting of neuron pathways within the brain. When Nordic walking you plant the poles at a 45-degree angle and this means an upright position is maintained; this allows muscle memory to kick in and posture is improved.
I’ve also seen first-hand the impact this sport can have on someone living with MS. I had a client with MS who was active up until recently when she found that walking even a quarter of a mile (400m) was a struggle. That is until we put the poles to the test! Walking with poles helped my client turn that short distance into a mile, something at the age of only 70 she didn’t think would ever be possible again!
But it is not just people with serious illnesses who can benefit from Nordic walking. People who are fit and healthy can also take up the sport as a way to keep in shape, maintain good posture, and for improved balance, co-ordination and mobility. It’s fun, it will build and tone muscles, improve your heart-rate, and overall it can help maintain good health, keeping you fitter for longer. Nordic walking is available all over the UK so why don’t you google it, find someone close to you and book yourself a taster session? You will be amazed by what you get from it.

Forever Living has always had a heart for helping others and you may have noticed that in recent years we’ve partnered with an incredible charity called Rise Against Hunger.
Rise Against Hunger (riseagainsthunger.org) is an international hunger relief organisation that distributes food and life-changing aid to the world’s most vulnerable. They do this by providing food packages to those who are in immediate need – often school children, patients in hospitals or vulnerable adults in the community. Over the years Forever has supported the charity by packing food parcels for them; last year, globally, we packed 1,500,000 meals and this year we’ve set ourselves the challenge of packing and donating a whopping five million meals to this worthy cause – a figure that we believe is achievable if all Forever country offices band together!
This may still seem like a massive undertaking, but we know how much of an impact this will make. For many vulnerable people and children across the world, these food parcels are their lifeline. If a child is unable to access food, their education, health and family life will suffer. To hear an inspiring true story about how these food parcels can positively affect a child’s life, click here.
We are determined to wipe out poverty one child at a time...
These Rise Against Hunger meals are used to support education and sustainable community empowerment programmes in countries facing the most critical food insecurity. Since our first meal packing event, we have packaged millions of meals from our Home Office in Arizona, Sweden, South Africa, Germany, Italy, India and, of course, the UK. We have also expanded our reach with Rise Against Hunger to help communities in need find sustainability and independence through longer-term solutions.
Last year Forever UK held an event where staff and hundreds of volunteers packed food parcels consisting of enriched rice, soy protein and dried vegetables. Each pack also included a special sachet that contains twenty-three of the essential vitamins lacking by the children and patients – these are the nutrients that help prevent a person from becoming malnourished!
Our hope is to hold a similar event this summer in the UK, but in the meantime you can follow our global progress by visiting foreverwerise.org.

We’ve all seen the adverts; women with flawless complexions and lustrous shiny hair telling us that if we want to look as radiant as them, all we need to do is spend our well-earned money on a life altering products. The global market for anti-ageing products is expected to be worth $331.3 billion by 2020, with cosmetic surgery and chemical based products contributing heavily to this total. Women around the world are consuming and purchasing a variety of man-made substances at an alarming rate, all in a frantic bid to achieve supple and luminous skin. However, some of these chemicals and factory-based products may not be the answer to enhancing and capturing that youthful glow. In order to truly capture the glow of youth, our bodies need to thrive off organic products and natural based treatments which can allow our bodies to breathe and regenerate in the most healthy way possible.
Keep hydrated
The most simple, yet effective way to get flawless skin is to drink plenty of water. Water is a natural cleanser and works to flush out toxins from your body, keeping it healthy and free of harmful substances.
It’s generally recommended that women drink 2.0 litres of water a day while men should drink approximately 2.5 litres so get drinking and keep yourself and your skin hydrated. We recommend Forever’s Natural Spring Water sourced deep within the caves of the Mendip Hills. Relax
Studies prove that stress and overworking have an incredibly negative and adverse effect on the body. Impairing the immune system’s mechanism and even damaging cells, high stress and anxiety levels can work to deteriorate our bodies at an incredibly rapid pace, affecting both our health and our outward appearance.
In order to prevent stress from ageing your body, take some time out and relax with a little you time. Life can be incredibly trying and difficult and that’s why it’s crucial to take a step back and allow for a little self indulgence from time to time. Learn to enjoy yourself and it won’t be long until your body learns to enjoy life too. Use products with natural ingredients
Not all anti-ageing products and supplements have negative effects on the body. When purchasing these types of items, check the ingredients and look out for harmful chemicals and manmade substances. Instead when investing in anti-ageing products, look for nutritious and natural based components. A prime example of these type of skincare products would be Forever Living’s Infinite range including the Infinite Firming Complex. A combination of vitamin C to help with healthy collagen formation, plus biotin to maintain healthy hair and skin. Plus, the Infinite Restoring Creme also works to smooth and combat ageing skin. With More than fifteen skin-conditioning ingredients including aloe, acai, pomegranate and vitamin B3, our cream works to smooth and moisturise your skin, leaving it feeling and looking replenished and revived. Work out
Though it may be an exceedingly common piece of advice, exercising has such a profound and significant impact on the body that it simply can’t be over emphasised. Working out not only strengthens your muscles and improves your metabolism but it also physically slows down the ageing of cells. By enhancing and reinforcing the telomeres in your chromosomes, your body clock physically slows and the ageing process of your cells greatly reduces. Coupled with increased levels of sleep and overall posture correction, exercising regularly can have incredible implications for your body’s health, and can help to reduce signs of ageing, leaving you looking and feeling great. Learn to love
It’s often said that love makes us feel young, but finding love can do more than simply make us feel young, it can also make us look younger too. The blissful feeling of being in love releases endorphins around our body that leave us feeling as if we’re floating on air with happiness, which works to have a direct and beneficial impact on our bodies. The feeling of being in love boosts our immune system and improves our cardiovascular health, whilst also releasing hormones that work to reduce our anxiety and stress levels, thereby strengthening our bodies and improving our internal and external health.
By embracing the love of a significant other, family member, or a friend, you can fill yourself and your body with happiness that will make you feel younger and brighter than ever before; proving that love really does never age.
Do you have any secret tips of your own to keep yourself feeling young? Let us know in the comments below.

Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, home DVDs… Everyday our lives are filled with a multitude of social and digital platforms, all of which seem to be selling us one thing; the glorious life of the gym fanatic. With 61% of adults working out for more than 150 minutes a week, it’s clear to see that fitness is currently captivating the hearts of the public, so we’ve compiled a list of some of the most common fitness mistakes made by gym goers in order to help you get the most from your fitness regime.
Exercise is the most important part of body sculpting
When it comes to trying to obtain the coveted beach body, more often than not people jump in head first and start slaving away at the gym, spending hours and hours trying to tone their abs, shape their legs and bulk out their arms. However, when it comes down to it, no matter how hard they push themselves, people often find themselves running short of their end goals. Maybe their legs aren’t completely as toned as they’d like, or maybe their glutes aren’t as rounded as they were hoping for, either way people respond by getting down and thinking that their exercises aren’t working. However this is most definitely not the case.
While there is no question that exercise is an integral part of body sculpting, people often place so much concentration on the physical side of fitness that they forget the most vital component of all; diet. Having a healthy and balanced diet is the key to achieving all fitness and muscle training goals, and it’s only when this is mastered that you will truly start to see your results kicking in. If you’re falling short of your gym goals, try taking a look and tweaking your diet; it may surprise you how much effect a simple change in menu can have. Repetition and routine is key
When it comes to fitness we are often told that routines are everything. Simply by flicking through Facebook and watching YouTube videos, we are bombarded with an array of fitness videos and routines which we are encouraged to embed into our daily lives. So we add some push ups here, some planks there, and before we know it we’re falling into a regular routine that we incorporate into our every gym session. At first, we’re out of breath after each and every set, but slowly, after a while we’re finding it easier and easier to get through those reps. As we get used to certain routines and habits, our bodies adapt and learn to combat the initial struggles we faced, meaning that at a certain point we stop making progress and simply plateau. As a result, our fitness levels are no longer improving and we become essentially stuck in a fitness rut.
In order to keep our body constantly progressing and moving forward it’s crucial to mix up the routines and keep our bodies on their toes. By ensuring that you’re not falling into a comfortable and monotamous routine, and instead shaking up your sessions with new and challenging reps, you’ll find that your fitness levels will start to increase and improve in ways you could only imagine. High intensity training is everything
‘Go hard or go home’; that phrase is bandied round in gyms so frequently that it’s become a type of mantra within the fitness world. So many people hit the gym with the attitude that they need to completely be on their knees with exhaustion on leaving or they haven’t had a ‘proper’ workout. This means that every time people go to the gym they’re performing high intensity training levels that are leaving their bodies feeling exhausted and broken, and this is most definitely not a healthy way to build fitness levels.
Rather than improving and strengthening your body, if you’re constantly pushing yourself too hard, your body will not be able to keep up and will eventually falter. Our bodies have limits and it’s important to understand this when training. Take it easy and mix up the high intensity training with more peaceful and calming activities, such as yoga. Not only will this prevent you from potentially hurting yourself, but it will actually improve your overall strength and fitness levels as your body is allowed to flourish and improve in a natural way. Reduce your calorie intake
Eat less calories. Lose weight. This simple fitness equation has been around for decades and has since become a general rule of thumb for everyone who wants to lose weight. However when it comes to weight loss, things aren’t as simple as they may first appear. Although calorie intake is indeed a crucial part of reaching your fitness goals, the actual relationship between food and fitness is worlds apart from people’s common misconceptions.
On your quest to lose weight and get the ever elusive summer body, despite popular belief, it’s actually incredibly important to increase your calorie intake and overall food consumption. While you’re working out frequently, your body needs to be supplied with a constant source of energy so it can thrive and meet your fitness goals. If you’re reducing the amount of calories your body intakes, you’re essentially cutting of your body’s energy supply, and as a result your body will be unable to perform to its full potential. In order to make sure that your body is functioning and thriving throughout your training sessions, you need to make sure that your body is supplied with fuel and energy to keep it going. Rather than starve your body and feel yourself struggle through your workouts, ensure that you are are eating full and hearty meals that will allow you to attack your workouts with renewed energy and vigour each time you hit the gym. If you’re training hard, you can eat what you want
While it’s definitely true that it’s incredibly important to keep your body fueled and energised with plenty of food, it’s still very important to retain a healthy and balanced diet throughout your training. Some people believe that simply because they are exercising regularly, they can eat what they want as the calories and fat will simply burn off. However, as much as we may wish this to be true when faced with a hoard of chocolate cakes and sugary treats, unfortunately our bodies simply don’t work like that.
In order to get results from your workouts, you need to be consuming a nutritious and healthy diet that caters to all the food groups; supplying your body with all the vitamins, minerals and goodies it needs to survive and thrive. Keep your body strong and healthy by having a balanced diet that includes those all important vegetables and fruits as well as carbs, proteins and of course a good old bit of chocolate. Cardio is king
Early morning runs, treadmill sessions, elliptical workouts...cardio is the focus for many people when it comes to fitness. Often filling the floor of the gym, countless people can be seen working up a sweat on the cardio machines, giving it their all in a bid to increase their fitness levels. However while cardio is a great way to increase your fitness capabilities, it’s by no means the only way to tackle workouts. By adding weight based training to your cardio routine you can work on massively increasing your muscle mass and overall body strength. Lifting weights can also help to add some definition to your figure which can greatly help in that ‘beach bod’ bid. By combining both methods of training you will be able to see a massive difference in your fitness levels, as well as an overall improvement in your body’s aesthetics. Losing weight is progress
When working out, there’s an assumption that if you’re training and going to the gym every week that you will progressively start to lose weight. It can therefore be incredibly disheartening at times to be standing on the scales in your bathroom, looking down and finding that you're not making any progress at all, or even at times actually putting on weight. When this happens it’s easy to let the panic set it. What am I doing wrong? My workouts are failing. I need to train more. These are just some of the many thoughts that can go whizzing around your head in this instance.
But rest assured that just because you’re not actively losing weight, doesn’t mean that you aren’t making incredible progress. A big part of fitness revolves around strengthening your body and building up your muscle. As you workout, your muscles will be responding and getting firmer and stronger in response to your exercises. This means that in turn they will be getting much heavier, and as a result creating the illusion that you are ‘putting on’ weight. Muscle mass can be incredibly heavy, and as such can cause much confusion when people don’t see themselves ‘losing’ the weight they wanted to. However in reality, while the fat is being burnt off, it’s in turn being replaced with stronger but much heavier muscle, meaning that scales and weight measuring techniques becomes an unreliable way to measure fitness progress. It’s important to not place too much emphasis with the number you see on your scales, and instead assess how you look and feel in yourself. True progress is not found in a figure on a scale, but rather in your own attitude and sense of self worth. Fitness models are goals
While it’s true that we have social media to thank for the trending interest in fitness, there is still one massive detriment to having such a strong digital presence, and that’s ironically our role models themselves. With glossy, filtered photos filling our newsfeeds, we are unable to escape the constant wave of fitness models flaunting their perfectly toned and sculpted bodies.
While it’s great to follow them and lead a healthy lifestyle by their example, it’s still key to remember that the photos we are seeing are not an accurate representation of real life. What’s important to remember is that these photos that are being posted, impressive as they are, will have been tweaked, altered and adapted to create that ‘perfect’ look. Fitness models do not look as seemingly flawless as they look in their online post; they bloat, they get cellulite, and they too have parts of their bodies that they’re not happy with. No one is perfect and every person’s body is different and unique to them. Although it’s great to have role models, never aspire to physically be someone else. Instead learn to love your body for what it is, because that’s what the fitness journey is all about really; learning to love yourself for who you are.
If you’re looking for a healthy and reliable way to reach your fitness goals, try one of our effective fitness programmes which are expertly designed and crafted to produce incredible results.

Forever’s iconic yellow and brown bottle has become synonymous with aloe vera, and rightfully so – after all, Forever Aloe Vera Gel contains 99.7% stabilised aloe! For almost forty years we have been at the cutting edge of aloe production and we believe our patented stabilisation process sets us apart from the rest. In fact, we are so confident in the quality of our aloe that our Forever Business Owners can offer their customers an unconditional sixty day money back guarantee if they aren’t completely satisfied with the products. Here at Forever Living, we’ve always known that aloe vera is a pretty incredible plant, but a recent report from Expert Market Research has shown that the world’s love for aloe is also growing at a rapid rate. In fact, the global aloe vera market is predicted to reach $728 million by 2021.The same report also named Forever Living as being one of the top players in the supply of aloe, which comes as no surprise considering Forever Living produces over 60% of the world’s commercially grown aloe vera – now that’s a lot of aloe!
Not all aloe is created equal
US news outlet Bloomberg, warned it’s readership that a study it commissioned into aloe products found that reputable retailers were selling products that didn’t contain any aloe at all, despite them listing aloe vera as either the number one or number two ingredient after water. The International Aloe Science Council (IASC) represents the aloe industry and was formed in the 1980s to offer an independent certification programme to ensure both the quantity and quality of aloe vera in consumer products. We are proud to announce that Forever’s Aloe Vera Gel exceeded IASC’s high standards and the majority of Forever’s products have also been awarded with its Seal of Approval. Why Forever’s aloe?
Aloe vera really is at the heart of everything Forever Living does, which is why our aloe is carefully grown and cultivated , ensuring it is of the highest quality possible. Forever Living is dedicated to bringing the best aloe vera directly to you by ensuring our products are always of a superior quality. Forever Living is able to quality control the entire production process since we own and manage everything, from the plantations to the factories. Forever’s plantations in the Dominican Republic and Texas employ local farmers who carefully nurture the aloe plants with the same level of care and high standards that we put into every one of our products. Once the aloe arrives at our factories it undergoes scrupulous quality control testing – in total, Forever Living carries out over 1.5 million quality tests per year. That’s equal to one quality test every twenty seconds, twenty four hours a day…phew! Our products
Forever’s devotion to this little green plant has been going strong for almost forty years now! Our commitment to finding nature’s purest ingredients and pairing them with the latest scientific advancements is ongoing. The more our research and development teams discover about aloe, the more they fall in love with it! It is this genuine passion for aloe that drives our innovation to develop new and improved products year on year.

WHEN I WAKE UP…
I am woken by my seven month old daughter Mila (short for Milena) at around 7am each morning. We go downstairs and I give her a bottle of milk before she has a play with her toys. I have a glass of water, some Forever Aloe Vera Gel and a glass of Forever Pomesteen Power before breakfast to set me up for the day ahead. My partner Ben and his daughters get up half an hour later to begin getting ready for school. Mornings in our household revolve around the children and making sure they are all sorted for the day.
DURING THE DAY…
Our house is still relatively new and we are having quite a bit of interior design work done to it; people are constantly coming and going throughout the day which keeps me busy. Mila has two naps a day and Ben and I use this time to work out either together or separately. We love circuit training and Ben is a fantastic trainer so he puts me through my paces at our in-house gym. I also have a passion for hot yoga so I try and go two-to-three times a week. Hot yoga consists of practicing a fusion of yoga styles, including Bikram at an extremely high temperature – over 32 degrees Celsius! I’ve actually been practicing yoga for fifteen years, so it is a real love of mine. I took my first class in America during my twenties and immediately felt the benefits. I used to go to yoga classes four-to-five times a week when I was dancing; I found it so beneficial for both my body and mind!
When Mila is awake we love to attend baby classes together. Our favourites are ‘Sing and Sign’ which teaches babies signing in a fun and interactive way, and ‘Water Babies’ which helps to lay the foundations for learning to swim. Mila adores these classes and it’s so lovely seeing her laughing and clapping away. A TYPICAL EVENING…
Evenings are always a busy and fun time in our household. The children all play together and we often have Ben’s family members over for dinner. Ben and I try to take turns in cooking dinner but I am more than happy for Ben to take the lead in the kitchen as he is such an amazing cook. Ben can create really delicious meals – pulled pork is one of his signature dishes – and I’m even tempted to make him apply for Masterchef! At 6:30pm we start Mila’s bedtime routine and the older girls settle down to do their homework; they are usually in bed by about 7:30- 8:00pm. Once all the children are in bed, Ben and I love to chill and watch a film or the latest box-set – we find them so addictive! If one of Ben’s family members is available to babysit, we love to go out to the cinema and enjoy some quality time together. THIS NEVER CHANGES…
Mila’s routine. Now that she is seven months old she is in an established routine; I try to stick to it as closely as possible.
Working out is also something that I make time to do even if I’m working away in London or I’ve had a really busy day at home. I find that exercising helps me to feel good and so I have to make it a priority. MY MOST MEMORABLE FOREVER MOMENT…
The promotional video I did for Forever in the dance studio. This was an incredibly poignant marker for me in the sense that it symbolised the start of my relationship with the company and it is a partnership I’m incredibly proud of. I have a genuine love for the products, so to be a part of the business in this way is a real blessing to me.

Forever’s UK Head Office is really excited to have launched a new platform called ‘Faces of Forever’. This platform is accessible via Facebook and has been specifically designed to showcase the wide variety of people who have enjoyed success as a direct result of becoming a Forever Business Owner (FBO). The platform captures stories of people from different professional backgrounds who decided to take the plunge into the world of Forever. Discover more at facesofforever.co.uk. This helpful tool highlights the achievements of people from different levels on the Marketing Plan, the stories of how they became FBOs, and why they decided to embark on the Forever journey. Some stories also share insight into the Forever business and the impact that becoming an FBO has had on that individual’s life.
‘Faces of Forever’ will also house information on the Forever F.I.T. Ambassadors, articles and video testimonials about Forever Business Owners, and inspiring content about the company. The platform aims to pinpoint what's at the heart of Forever by highlighting the ethics behind the company, the charities we support and the foundations on which the company is built.
New content will be uploaded to ‘Faces of Forever’ on a monthly basis using recognition stories from Forever magazine and other relevant interviews.
The platform was officially launched on Saturday 18th February on stage at the recent Success Express event at the NEC Birmingham. We invite you to come and take a look…

WHEN I WAKE UP...
My alarm goes off bright and early at 6:30am and I always start my day with a shot of Forever Aloe Vera Gel and various supplements. I take a cuppa upstairs to my wife Lindsey and wake my two sons for school. We then head downstairs and share a light breakfast together. Whilst the rest of the household are getting dressed, I take twenty minutes to myself to clear my thoughts, remind myself of my goals and write down my list of priorities before finishing off with a short meditation session. Lindsey and I take it in turns to do the school run and then it’s one hour of exercise followed by a Forever Lite Ultra shake. DURING THE DAY…
Mid-morning to lunchtime is spent making new contacts and following up existing prospects for our Forever business. I will also put aside twenty minutes to schedule my key social media activity. I tend to take around forty-five minutes for lunch and then spend my afternoons meeting prospects for one-to-one sessions, Business Presentations (BPs) or planning meetings with my team. We finish work for the day at around 3:30pm so we can collect the boys from school and take them to after school sporting activities. I also take my second shake of the day around this time. A TYPICAL EVENING…
We have a light evening meal sat down as a family. Our evenings are usually flexible but tend to involve at least an hour’s admin work each night on the computer and there is usually a BP or launch event going on, along with our rolling training webinar which we host on a Sunday night. I then do five minutes of back and core-strength exercises last thing at night, but ideally I’m in bed by 11pm for a few minutes reading. THIS NEVER CHANGES…
My week is very structured but each day feels different. I change my workouts every four weeks and because we are meeting and working with different people all the time, I never get bored. The beginning and end to my days are like book ends and never change, but the middle of it can vary greatly. The only physical ailment I have suffered with over the years is my lower back so I always finish the day with my back stretches and core exercises.
Exercise is something that never changes in the sense that I always train six times a week regardless of whether or not I’m on holiday, and from a nutritional point of view I remain very consistent with three main meals and two shakes a day. MY MOST MEMORABLE FOREVER MOMENT…
Getting a call from Forever’s home office asking if I’d consider becoming one of Forever’s Global F.I.T. Ambassadors!
